Alejo Miranda i think Jake Gyllenhaal has his own place in the industry, meaning, he's not far away from it, and to be honest to take an oscar you could even act one movie and still get it but some just .............. it's all about luck at this point, with movies, you could act in an excellent movie but another one would be better

This is so beautiful, so delightful, so heart-warming! This could have been grave but they took the protagonist's positive outlook on life which in turn was greatly helped by his wife's eternal belief in him fully recuperating from the debilitating paralytic stroke. He should've got one for last year, not for Hacksaw Ridge, which he by the way was great in, but for his role in Silence. If you haven't yet seen it, DO. I dare to say it's already a cinema classic and Garfield did the best acting last year by far in all honestly!

What a beautiful movie. I am a respiratory therapist. I have seen so many vent dependant patients. Had worked for a LTac place and that place is just horrible like hell. Will never forget that experience. It's so hard and so sad. I have known so many cases, thet are left alone at the Ltac hospital then hospice. Their family, husbands, wives left them. Literally they can't take care of the patients and its so damn expensive. I knew a young guy who is only 25 currently, got shot at the neck but luckily survived. He is now paralyzed and vent dependant. He became a very cranky person because you know they can't move and still feel any damn pain. His wife left him home for a week and he got admitted with severe back wound and was in all contact isolation: cdiff, lice...i wish people have compassion for all other people. Im young but already signed: do not trach me. Don't know what to say but Thanks Robin Cavendish and Terry Hall and his family.
