I'm not sure if I've ever left a comment on this channel, friends, but, I am today. The finished hardscape alone was magnificent! Then when I watched this completed build with all the plants, well, let's just say that if I were a small fish, I would want to live there! Not sure why, but this Green Aqua build moved me. I love this! I have been planning to do something similar in a 47g rimless tank. I have a lot of mature plants ready, but I don't have access to the hardscape materials you guys have. Since it will end up mostly hidden I'll work with what I have though.

I feel like this tank should be lit exclusively from the back. The wood looks ancient, and some deep shadows and under-exposed plants would really make this scape look super aged and creepy like a dark forest. Maybe throw in some scraggly wendtii reds?
