well... those tools are build in blender and are very quick to use them if you know shortcuts.... for example moving cube along muse direction on global axes is : hit G and click and hold wheel mouse botton then when you move your mouse will move along direction of your movement... I know propably all tools in modeling in blender and this addon just colect them in one space but there is no need to instal this addon... just learn shortcuts and you will be faster then addons.

Totally agree. All I see here is a somewhat incoherent and awkward interface to things you can do much more quickly if you know your way around Blender.

Is there a shortcut to flip the UV 90? That is the only one I'd find useful out of these.

Very handy stuff, as far as UI design goes too the movement addition is bloody clever

I made a script QuickSwitch, github.com/schroef/QuickSwitch, it allows you to switch workspaces with shortcuts and menus. It also allows you to remember the object state your in. So when your in weight paint mode and leave modeling area and come back, its still in weight paint mode and not back to default how Blender does it. Perhaps people can use this.

4:20 Breathtaking ! Depending on your subdivision being odd or not, the last edge it will select on the loop (in your case every 3 edges) won’t end on the first one of your initial selection, thus selecting the whole loop because it will be shifted by one edge everytime it does a 360° 🤦♂️

What screen keys add-on do y9u use ?
5 жыл бұрын
I wrote a script to do that for me, but its not consumer ready since not all keys are mapped, it also has some bugs. Hence why I haven't shared it. :/

Hi ! What do you think of the floating window addon ?
5 жыл бұрын
havent tested it yet, but I dont think it'd be something I totally need compared to tools that can actually improve the modeling and texturing process.

Well if you ask me thats all kind of useless crap.... I dont see why buttons should even be concidered for all of this... I almost never move my mouse out of 3d view when hardsurface modeling and thats the way it should be. It for sure makes things much easier for beginners. But most of it has built in ways that are far more intuitive than 'buttons at the side of the screen'......
