Usually 4 or 5 inches, sometimes a big old male can get 6+ but not very often

I haven't had any problems yet, but probably not a good idea to get shrimp if you're in desert with temps well above 100. But as far as your standard 90s they are ok as long as not left out in sun. Many plants on the other hand are a different story.

Thank you, just inert sand in most tanks. Some tanks are bare bottom

inert sand means industrial gravel thats a 1mm to 2mm or even sand type gravel i have no idea what that is brother.anyways thanks for your reply iam from canada montreal quebec now the time is 10:06pm now and where you about in states brother.

Lol, seriously have been drinking too much coffee lately. They're the same line as far as my shrimp go. Been working for years to get more uniform color, getting sold color bkue shrimp is pretty tough, I think the actual blue dreams are well worth it. Spent lots of time and energy over the years getting them better and better.

I enjoy your video. I will be trying blue dream shrimp in the next few weeks. First time I will try to raise shrimp. Can I keep otocinclus, bristle nose, and hillstream loaches with the shrimp? Will any of them eat the baby shrimp?

I know bristlenose plecos are fine, pretty sure ottos would be fine, hill stream loaches I reckon would be fine as well.

Do you have problems with the plecos esting shrimp?

They are bristlenose plecos, very important. Bristlenoses have been 100% shrimp safe in my experience. Other plecos will not be the same.

I have Bloody Mary culls from your line and they are making some pretty solid oranges, to be clear it’s mostly bloodys. However probably a few low grade green jades and wilds scattered in.

Thats pretty crazy man. Only culls I get out of them are the blue ones. I have noticed in my bloody mary pond I have been pulling out some that are black. Never had those in the 40g.

Thank you 😊 Snails are just a part of feeding a lot. I manually remove them when there is more than I like. Not really an issue unless there are obscene amounts of them and they are out competing shrimp for food.

@@MarkShellyAquatics Awesome! I have a 40 gallon 24”Lx18”Wx21”H that I have a couple hundred Painted Fire Grade Cherry Shrimp colony in it. Once fishroom rebuild is complete I will try two 40 breeders to go with my 60 ten gallon shrimp tanks.
