As an artist this is spot on. My sister once told me I’m equal to art in target or home goods. I deserve target prices. It’s he’d me back and got me off my path. I’m know now I’m worthy. I actually had art in a museum at age 17. I lost a lot of time but I learned boundaries and self care. I’m painting again.

As always, it was an excellent presentation by Brené Brown, the hard reality I learned from years of working in a corporate role is, that your co-workers are not your friends, never be loyal to any company, they will replace you overnight, and never change who you are just to fit in, always be your authentic self, remember bullies are not only in the playground but at work as well. Never stay in a dead-end job, if you are not happy, start planning, and start applying for other jobs, shut off social media, because you deserve to be happy, you matter, and you deserve to be respected.

Brene you are wonderful! I'm in tears. I lost my mother at 2 & 1/2. At 5 I used to say, "They took my mommy away from me but they won't tell me why." As a child I armoured up and walled people off so people couldn't know my pain. The only person I trusted was my mom's neighbor and best friend. She understood me. Thank you Brene for courage to enter the arena once again. I've entered several arenas over the years always fighting to be appreciated but didn't understand.

She is absolutely spot on. When you become your authentic self and not live your life according to the way others want you to live, you will indeed get your A$$ kicked. And at times, kicked hard. But continue on your journey to be your authentic self. All things are working out for your good. It will set you free on a higher vibration. ❤❤

This piece really gets into me, especially when I'm feeling doubtful about myself. The "Arena" comes to mind when I am feeling people are trying to put me down for whatever reason. I hope this gets shown in schools, especially Jr. High and High School.

Well I realized after my Dad died suddenly and unexpectedly that the only person in my life I had left to love me as described in this video is my mother. Not other family, not friends. I don't know what I'll do when she leaves this earth. It's a horrifying thought, but I know one day it'll be my reality. I have no idea how to be okay with this ... walking the earth alone, without love, for the rest of my life.

A job, a task, a drive, other people's opinions about me DO Not HAVE MY Permission To influence my emotional state of being longer than 90 seconds. When someone has an option about you ask yourself, "Is this real about me right now?" If it is real how will I use it to move me in the direction I choose. If it is not real let it go. It is none of your business.

A person in mind can’t do heart honesty vulnerability exposing their soul & showing who they really are & live in their truth, only a human in heart can. It’s why people only in mind can only be in witchery, that is manipulate, control, deceive & avoid truths. That’s the karma & life experience that it is, until it’s destined to change.

Taylor Swift invited her critics and gave free tickets to her Reputation tour. She’d been listening to the shitty things they’d been saying for years and wanted to show them that she took it heart and made the highest grossing tour in history. Then she did the Eras tour and made that tour the highest grossing in history.

About a 1/3 into this video I became quite distracted in that the majority of the imagery were men. I could barely hear the message anymore wondering why. I scrolled back through the video to see if I missed something but no, mostly men. Probably 95% men vs 5% women's images. I find that quite odd. I do like Brene Brown's messages. Just curious about the choice not to show women as surely it was a choice whether conscious or unconscious.
@patriciaduff20907 ай бұрын
Why the absence of women in the video??
@KP-vl1to7 ай бұрын
Men are most likely to not reach out,seek therapy or do self help.... It helps them to see other men who represent their internal struggles. Women will still come see the video because we're already trying to fix ourselves.
