About not prioritizing “Easy”. Timestamp 3:52 - “Just because there is something easy to do, doesn’t mean it HAS TO BE DONE today...” As soon as you said it, it echoed in my ears...I realized I’m doing the easiest tasks on my important projects more so than the tasks I should be doing today on those projects.

I used to live the life of responding to others emergencies and getting pulled in so many directions every day. Finally I discovered a magical word :"NO". There is freedom in those two letters. It took me years to learn to say them when people and their problems came calling. I felt a responsibility to help others all the time, but it was always at the expense of my goals. If you get nothing else out of this gem of a video, learn to say NO.

make a committment to yourself and do the things he says for 3 days... 5 days.. 7 days... 1 month.. whatever your comfortable and think you can do.. Set that goal and do it for that many days.. You'll feel more on your mission and realize the priorities you need to get what you need done. Progress truly creates motivation.

Thanks, Brendon!! I needed to hear this. I spend so much time answering emails and giving out free style advice to individuals... that I lose time I could be spending making videos/blogs/writing to help reach more women. I appreciate the reality check. Love your videos! Erin

Having kids--especially young ones--means we're in customer service all day. Everything is unique with kids. Our kids need our attention and their agenda is our agenda. Don't forget parents in these time management tips. We respond all day until the kids are in bed. So really, this video is about prioritizing AT WORK. Then it works. Thanks!

It's definitely harder now; my wife & I had our 1st he's just starting to let us sleep at night after 1/2 a year! Some days I'm like there isn't enough coffee in the world to get me going today! I guess it won't be as bad if we didn't wait till our 30's to have kids.

I love that he is not afraid to say the unpopular truth - you can't have everything always. In order to succeed on your way this must be your priority - even if the demands of other self-responsible adults or things that do not bring you closer to your best self must go. Thank you big time once more.

1. Stop prioritizing easy. Instead prioritize progress. 2.Asking yourself "What will 3 things should I prioritize that will help me progress?" 3. Learn to say no. 4. Ask yourself "What is important to me today?" 5. Start prioritizing more financial freedom, social freedom...
I think people should be grateful for the whole video not just picking out parts they want to hear. None of my business what others do but it's true.

This is another message that really hits my heart, and THANK YOU for the encouragement. It's not easy, but I really do want to live "my" life, not others. Sometimes, I have to learn to say "NO", no matter how hard it may be.

OH MY you hit the nail on the head with ALL of this. This message is perfect timing for me. I am less than a year away from being a Boomer and having raised multiple children, it is a hard business to say NO yet is IMPERATIVE for self preservation. Just got you your book this morning and the planner....WOWZERS. can't wait to become more focused and energized. Thank You.

Hi Brendon! Insightful! I used to say 'yes' to everything people requested me, getting me stressed all the time, then frustrated and angry 'cause I couldn't reach their deadlines or accomplish my important tasks. It'd happened for many years... until I learnt to say 'no'! Since then, I felt freed from too many problems, and I started to live happier and more close managed to my personal agenda. I'm still on that track of 'learning', but surely I've been winning a lot 'till then. Thanks a lot for sharing this post! Have a good one!

Amazing! I have the same approach. I was always this way. For sometime I was wondering if is something wrong with me 😞. People don't realize that, the crazy ones are the normal ones. This behavior definitely pushing people away, and all they see is selfishness. I have been called that many times. Even by my parents. People don't understand that life is about "You" not about other people. People are wasting time to get to know strangers, and they don't know them selfs.

You are fantastic! I was having trouble, should I be a mum full time FULLTIME and try to make my house better each day, or should I include time for my writing dreams? I should include time for writing! I was prioritising easy! No one else will see my house. It’s ok. It’s not bad, but it isn’t perfect. With 4 little kids, it will NEVER be perfect, but if I don’t spend at least an hr a day writing, I’ll never finish my book either. Thank you so much. You really changed the way I was thinking xx

You know, there is a false sense of comfort in thinking that by always prioritizing yourself and your own stuff is what is important and will move the needle in your life. No one lives on an island. You literally will fail without other people helping you and being there when you need them.. When you always prioritize yourself, guess what, the people in your life will start not to prioritize you in time and you WILL fail.

This is what I am talking about, there are a lot of conflicts and chaos in life. Brendon is talking about doing things that moves yourself forward instead of be a people pleaser. But I also heard somewhere that successful people bring values to other people. Doesn't that mean you have to help others? I am confused.
