Finished. Took me a few days, it came out beautiful. I don’t use the good stuff when I get a new pattern since I always make mistakes lol but I will on the next. Thx again ❤

Thank you Nicole for another excellent video. I’m thrilled to see you doing videos for new Oro Rosa bags one of my favorites. Through the video I could not stop looking at the printed vinyl. Can you share where you purchased it?

Thank you so much for this. Your tutorials are the best! Just wondering if you could post a link to your stapler please?
@OKSew4743 ай бұрын
Thank you! 😊 This is the stapler I use: a.co/d/6eiyaz4 I will caveat that this stapler folds the prongs flat rather than curved in toward the center like most staplers, which you may or may not prefer.

I love this video. Great tutorial , the best . Beautiful bag. Can you tell me about the hole puncher . I have two and a press , but the one you are using seems to be pretty good.
@OKSew4742 ай бұрын
Hi! It is a Japanese screw punch. It comes with a few different sized hole punches. You use a twisting/screwing motion with downward pressure to make the hole. There is a “spring” of sorts inside that creates the resistance that you are pushing against. They are great for when you need to make a hole that is more toward the centre of your project that your typical punch cannot reach. I’ll pop a link below, let me know if I can help any further!

@@OKSew474thank you ! I have the Japanese one I was asking for the red one , the leather puncher!

That’s this one: a.co/d/h8aFuGw It has various sized holes and you just turn it to get the one you want, it works really well. I only ever use the smallest holes for rivets. You can use it for the ends of card slots too. The biggest limitation is as I mentioned when I was talking about the screw punch, you can’t get too “deep” into your project with it.

Your designs are super exotic.. just a small request can you please mention the dimensions in the video like what size you have cut of particular pattern... It will make easy to understand.
@OKSew4742 ай бұрын
Hi! I appreciate the feedback. When I am making a tutorial for another pattern designer I purposely limit the exact dimensions given due to copyright on a pattern available for purchase, however I have the finished dimensions noted in the video description. I will make sure to include the finished dimensions in the video also!

I wanted to see how this bag went together before I purchased the pattern. Great tutorial. My only issue is why such a long zipper? Upon completion you can't utilize the full zipper length to open the bag wider. Is it just to make the construction of the bag easier?
@OKSew4742 ай бұрын
Although I can’t speak for the designer, it is to make the construction easier, as well as adding a design element. It would be tricky to make each side without the zipper fully separated, but I have seen people omit the exterior pockets which would give you the option of opening more widely.

Where did you purchase the end cap for the straps?
@OKSew474Ай бұрын
If you search “belt tip” on Amazon several options will come up; unfortunately the specific ones I used are no longer in stock. There are clamp or screw varieties.

Please share where you get the wide mouth sliders
@OKSew4742 ай бұрын
There are a few different places; I got these ones from Gold Star Tools, their hardware can be hit-or-miss but I have found the wide mouth sliders to be consistently good quality, not too bulky, and reasonably priced. Emmaline bags and Wizardry Stitchery also carry wide mouth sliders that are excellent quality.
