They were very similar in style, build, age, both 2nd Generation wrestlers so they were VERY similar.... they both spoke very highly of each other as well.....

Mr. Perfect also spoke highly of others and that included Hogan. It seems Mr. Perfect got along with everybody, unless he was drunk. Example: Brock Lesnar

@@icex69rz I know when Bret talked about Mr. Perfect after his passing, Bret seemed to almost tear up. He stated, how much Mr. Perfect helped him get over, when Mr. Perfect had the back injury for that Summer Slam match.

supertroll No, give me Steamboat v Flair any day, then give me HBK v Bret, and the WrestleMania 2008, match between HBK v Flair, that match was voted match of the year and match of the decade 2000-2009, it's more impressive because of the fact that HBK was in his mid 40s and Flair was 59, let that sink in two guys with a combined age of over 100 had the match of the decade, ICONIC.

Henning and Hart feud matches were awesome to watch. Those two were magic together just like the Rock and Stone Cold. It's too bad they didn't have a heavyweight feud, but the Intercontinental title (back when it meant something) matches were awesome anyway.

I saw a clip on KZbin of a match between Bret and Mr. Perfect. From a house show. In Saskatoon! And it was better than 83% of the matches we get on tv or PPV/PLE these days.

In an era of giants, Bret and Curt together were truly electric. Without them we likely wouldn't have seen the likes of Jericho, Angle, Benoit, Eddie, achieve the level of success they did.

Curt was my pick to win the 93 Rumble. I never forgave Koko B. Ware for eliminating him from the match. A WM 9 rematch of SummerSlam 91 would have been awesome, but we did get it at KOTR 93.

I'd agree with you about that curt had more charisma personality and was a better promo guy but Bret was one of the greatest technical wrestler's ever to lace up a pair of wrestling boots he always delivered
