Manning didn't have a real talented receiving corps that year. New head coach, best record in football, SB appearance, a running game that averaged 3.5 yards per carry. Favre had some talent and a HOF RB. Favre was definitely an MVP candidate no doubt

I'm a Packer fan- and you made me laugh. Yes- The Packers were lucky to have him. In my mind- he transcended the game. He won every-where that he played. If he wouldn't have blown out his arm with the Jets- at the end of the season there- who knows the Jets may have been in the playoffs. Guys loved playing for him.

I know it's been a long time.. but I just won't ever forget this year. In 07 i was living with my dad when I was 7 and ended up going to Foster care for the next two years and ended up watching with my foster family. I remember the NFC championship none of us could believe what the hell had just happened. All of us knew the game was a scandal and the saints cheated anyone could see that aside from us turning the ball over( which still kinda gets to me considering AP was one of the best running backs yet he was blowing the big game) I don't even know how to feel about the Vikings man. I don't even know if I should keep believe but I will. There is no other NFL team I like that much. Aside from a Superbowl.. the least I expect.. (which is the very least) is us beating the saints in a playoff game again. They deserve it and so do Vikings fans... That was our bowl man.. everyone knew....
