Thank you so much for the best dual boiler reviewing video in KZbin.... please we want more videos about it

Thank you so much for the high praise!! Currently I am still getting more accustomed to the machine. After I am confidence with making drinks from it, I will definitely be able to share more videos with confidence.

I’m looking into some higher end prosumer expresso machines but my Breville took a crap on me and it’s out of warranty so Breville sent me a 25% off voucher for any one time purchase so I’m looking at that dual boiler and for that kind of money with the 25% off it’s hard to pass up. How do you like it? Is it exceeding your expectations?

Thanks for a nice review. One of the most complete on this machine that I have found. My only observation is that your constant hand waving in front of the camera is a little distracting. Other than that - excellent work!

A dialing in video with the dual boiler would be nice!

Breville/Sage are the best consumer machines, adapted for the home kitchen. Face it: your home is not a cafe. Dual boiler is great.

great video. i already add on my cart gaggia classic and eureka grinder. but i change my mind i rather get dual boiler and use my old 60mm flat burr grinder. Thanks

First of all, sorry about the late response. Secondly I am happy that you found my video to be helpful. I really want to get my hands on a flat burr grinder down the line also

These were my first 2 choices as well. Can you tell me why you changed your mind? And if you are happy you did now that you have the Dual Boiler?

I noticed you said 18g of coffee in the filter? Does it take 20 or 21 grams in portafilter? Thank you

Hi, I have the DB a couple of days and very pleased with the extractions. How does it stand over time for you? Do you back flush it daily? Thanks

Time programmable aside, how long is the actual heat up ready time?

Hello, great machine you got there. Just would like to ask, until today does the black paint starts peeling or chipped off?
@dino44332 жыл бұрын
I was going to ask the same question

I have the Infuser black for 3 years, not one chip off the paint.

what a beautiful machine. congrats! am jealous of you tbh :) wish i could own this machine but its not even sold in my country.
@XICups3 жыл бұрын
Aww I am sorry to hear that, I assume it's not even sold under the sage name? (btw sorry for the late response.)

I had a BDB before, but sold it and got an ECM Synchronika. Also amazing machine, but shot for shot, it made no difference. The only feature of the BDB I didn't like is the steam and being no burn. I'll probably get a BDB back again one day.

Thank you for this comment! Great to hear another happy (ex)owner. The HX machine definitely made better milk due to the better steamer, however I don't mind the slower speed of the BDB, it allows a bit more time for adjustment. I really wanna get a HX machine myself one day though.
@naf43613 жыл бұрын
@@XICups Out of curiosity, why a HX machine? I'm just not a fan of temp searching with HX, although the newer machines are better than what it was a few years back.

Could you please tell me how long it takes for a complete warmup? Was looking for an E61 group head but 20-30 mins of heating time is not an option for me. Thanks in advance!!!

its got a automated ON timer/clock...

Great video! I have a BBE and have a similar issue with losing 9 bar pressure as I'm nearing the end of extraction. Any ideas of how to fix this? Thanks a bunch! Love the new upgraded machine!
@XICups3 жыл бұрын
Loosing pressure towards the end of the extraction is actually normal, this is how the machine pressure profiles to help with even extraction. If the pressure stays at 9 bars throughout the entire shot, then the shot will get a lot more blonde towards the end (aka under extracted.) So focus more on the ratio and time of your shot plus whether the pressure hits 9 bars after the initial pre-infusion. Hope this helps =]
@XICups3 жыл бұрын
Though I would also add that the 2nd shot in this video, although turned out better than the first, is still not a great shot, it dropped below 9 too quickly. In this particular case, I added another 0.5g of coffee to the recipe and dialed my grinder to be slightly finer and it did the trick.
@damianhbk13 жыл бұрын
@@XICups makes total sense! I'll keep my routine dialed in! Thank you for clarifying all that up! Best of luck with the new toy! Can't wait to see more uploads! Cheers!
@adaz2402 жыл бұрын
@@damianhbk1 I'd like to add why it actually drops. This is because your coffee pucks integrity degrades throughout the shot while at full pressure. Therefore, towards the end of the shot it will be at its weakest and cannot provide enough resistance against the pump to hit 9 bar
@damianhbk12 жыл бұрын
@@adaz240 makes a lot of sense. Took a bit to figure that one out. I'm just glad there is nothing wrong with my machine knowing this is normal when pulling shots! Thanks for the input. 👍

I advise you to change steamer tip with the bambino plus tip .. its gonna make it better 🤌

Thanks for the tip. So far the steamer tip has been working well. But will look into the Bamibno plus tip once I get into modding the machine.
