+Laura Tabares Hey Laura, I noticed your comment is 9 months old. How's the ice cream maker doing so far?? I'm considering to buy it but I haven't made my mind about it.

Alejandro A. Téllez-Vargas The machine is really nice! I use it since I bought it! I really recommend it, I been trying lots of kind of recipes. Down sides: it do not work with water so, no ice creams made of water and if you frozen "the leftover ice cream" later will be a block of ice, it won't be soft and creamy anymore... unless you do what I did and I bought stabilizers to avoid the ice crystals and that way keeps the way it supposed to be... with milk, yogurt, coconut milk, cream... etc, works really well! especially if is with whole milk, better than skim milk...

Wait, I have a bit of confusion while watching... Do you pre-cool the maker and pour the mixture in directly? Or do you have to wait for it?

I have this unit and sometimes, the temperature just starts increasing. Today, it went up to 30 degree F. before I shut it off to leave it for some time to start again (not the first time it's happened). I could not change the temperature direction by stopping and resetting. Also, I can't seem to make two batches one after the other. I have to leave it for a day. Any advice re the first?

Breville is branded Sage by Heston Blumenthal in the UK. Breville everywhere else in the world.

Why does the time reader says 47 minutes and seconds? She said the ice cream was going to be ready in 15 minutos. Did I miss something??

You have done it all wrong, should not have pour the mixture into the machine but to pour when the container is outside so the container will not get stuck
@KallePihlajasaari5 жыл бұрын
There are MANY other ice cream makers with their own compressor. Sad to start a review with an obvious factual error.

400$ for this or 40$ for a regular one.. hmm lemme think
@braxtondennis33129 жыл бұрын
miamiwax well this one has a freezer in it so you don't need to pre-freeze it for 8 hours like a normal one, and the average cost of a ice cream machine is 100 dollars the cheap 40 dollar ones rarely last more then a couple of uses

I'd have paid even more for a machine that actually works. But this is pathetic, stopping while the mix is still liquid, even at the maximum hardness setting.

This machine is garbage! They've sent two replacements and none of them worked like they were suppose to! It doesn't detect consistency!
