This is my favorite video bc Brian seems to be a skeptic. The way you handle it is so professional and refreshing. Most magicians would belittle the skeptic and proceed to do a trick that would shut him up. But instead of belittling Brian, you invite him to look closer and harder at what you're doing AND STILL blow his mind. I aspire to be as good as you some day but I know that I'll have to put in a lot of work. Thank you for making video after video of your hot tricks!

This is my favourite video of yours. Each trick is better than the last. You never cease to amaze. Your crowd/audience control skills are amazing. You killed it with the last trick !!!

Thank you Karthik, that last trick is a crowd pleaser.

Amazing. I think my favourite is around 3:30 when U let them all select a card and then seemingly teleport them between the aces ...just unreal skill!
@MatthewFurman7 жыл бұрын
Glad you like. Btw, I don't sell it as I teleport the cards. I would rather get credit as a skilled sleight of hand artist. That is the truth. Nobody believes any magic mumbo jumbo.
@TheChessViking7 жыл бұрын
Matthew Furman I know and agree. That is why I say seemingly...the skill of the slight is so good that even knowing what you have to do there is nothing to be seen.
@MatthewFurman7 жыл бұрын
Thank you. Just wanted to be clear about my mindset. Magicians who get all dramatic come off as cheesy and ridiculous. Everyone knows it is a trick, and I am ok with that.

My favorite video: First of all: I like Kevin Malone alot. Doing magic for a celebrity always adds to the excitement if a video. Having them so amazed that they are willing to give you a shoutout for your youtube channel and saying it was the best they ever saw adds to the fun of watching a video of yours. You have been doing celebrity magic for a long time and I think it is your strong suit. Also your rotation in this video is great. I love it when you do both sleight of hand tricks and 'mindreading' tricks because I feel those usually get the best response and shows your amazing skills and capabilities. Been subscribed from the moment I found out about your channel and always waiting for your newest video. Hope your channel turns out the way you want it to be!

So final comment to your last statement, yes you´ve been pretty hard on them, but not rushing through too fast, actually I really admired the beat, you were jamming; This is a hot one... you were delivering one monster effect after another. Watching this was a great inspiration. Real time for real people absolutely brilliant! I hope, I get to this level once! So good!

Thank you. I have a theory, let me know what you think- the longer the build up to a trick, the stronger the payoff has to be. That is the big reason why I bang through tricks. I don't give any great build up, just in case. There is a critical point and if you go over it, take too long, it doesn't matter how strong the payoff is, it is a bad trick. I see this a lot.
@kevinabajian7 жыл бұрын
The best trick was the last one u did it so clean and u pretended to be sure it was 9 which made him believe that his card was 9 and the magic happened great job man

This is one of my favorite videos of yours. It has a great performance with some amazing tricks. Loved the 9s to King's trick and I'm still trying to figure out the coins through the table routine. Brian's reactions were so great too. I've been a fan of his for years and was awesome to see him in real life, being himself and having his mind blown! On top of all this, I love the fact you pointed out your own error at the end when you moved too quick through the coins trick. I noticed it during the performance and props to you for calling yourself out. Keep up the great work. You really are one heck of a magician and your experience really shows in this video.

Another amazing performance with top notch celebs, I love the coins through table and your version of coin in a bottle is a vey clever one and I won't say anymore but I love to watch you perform this, I want to thank you Matthew for tutorial on the faro and cascade, the tip that helped the most was adding a little pressure with the pinky under the deck and now I'm nailing it! respect for the one hand faro too! I know you don't use it in performances but that moves hard! tutorial maybe? loving the channel Matt

Hey man, I know you're not about CREATING magicians, but i think you might want to open up to people who have been magicians for a while, in terms of revealing the origins of tricks. For example, I've been doing magic for a while and that last trick(the nines to kings) is one that I've seen performed a few times. I don't even have an idea on where to go to learn that trick! Obviously, because of how good it is, you shouldn't make a tutorial on it or even reveal it in the comment section, but just telling me the name of the book/other resource would be a huge help. I don't think it's very fair that I shouldn't be able to learn this trick simply because I haven't stumbled upon the right book/ other resource! Also (this is a major point), even if you reveal the book or other resource, it would cost people time and money to get said resource, which would COMPLETELY filter out anyone who isn't serious about their magic (so no noobs)! I appreciate your time and I love your magic! That's a hot one!!!!
@MatthewFurman7 жыл бұрын
+Elijah Sharp Hi Elijah, Appreciate you taking time and your open and honest comment. I too will talk open. Being in magic for a long time doesn't mean anything. The problem with magic is unlike a dr or lawyer there are no degrees or tests to pass. Everyone who decides they are a magician, is a magician. And now there are mass tutorials so no secrets are sacred. Not sure what you don't think is fair. I don't owe anyone anything. You might have noticed I don't have ads on my videos. That means I don't make a dime from KZbin. Therefore what i put on my channel and the choices i make are completely up to me. The tricks I perform are advanced and anyone technically capable of performing that trick knows where to find it. Hope i don't offend. I appreciate your support. The big difference with me is i am a magician and have been successfully performing in the real world for paying clients for over 20 years. I have never given away Secrets and never will.
@elijahsharp74147 жыл бұрын
I appreciate the response and I'm not offended by it. I disagree with some of your theory and logic but I respect that it is your decision what you do and don't say on your channel. Thanks for being open! Still subbed and still loving the magic! Keep doing you!
