Where there would be gigs in historic places (with good headliners and bands from the UK and different countries) and a great convention day with personalities linked to the band, taking advantage of the fact that many are still alive. It doesn't have to be annual like BW.

Absolutely amazing collection. I met Oasis on August 9th 1996. Myself and my mate (in a band together) got under the fence at Knebworth whilst the band were soundchecking on the Friday afternoon. On the documentary that came out last year there's a brief bit where myself and friend can be seen leaning on the fence at the stage front watching the band play. We got a chance to chat to Noel and Liam and Liam even "treated us" to a ride hanging on the back of the golf buggy he was zooming about on. Sadly this was before camera phones and widespread Internet use. We had no evidence that this amazing afternoon occurred until that documentary came out. Noel was buzzing around the arena on a Vespa. John Squire was also there. They played Champagne Supernova to an audience of about 50 people and really jammed out at the end. It was bloody amazing. I wish I'd known how generous these guys are, I would've certainly asked for a memento or even to have a go on Alan's drums. As 15 year olds in a band in 1996 we played a lot of Oasis covers. Meg Matthews was there, she was nice, very friendly. And Alan McGee was also there. We were too scared to talk to him though. All in all, an amazing experience. This video has really brought back those memories, so thank you very much. Very enjoyable. You have the greatest collection.

Way back when in the late 80s I was offered John Squire's amp, fully painted, stage used. The cost of it was a bit high and I had no use for it so passed on it. wonder how much that's worth now.

This was a great watch. Back in 2016 they did a Oasis convention in Manchester called “Chasing The Sun” at the old Granada Studios. It was mega, a lot of Oasis memorabilia was on show such as lyric sheets, clothing, amps, Noel’s guitars etc. Did you (James) or anyone else go?

My friend was working at the place where the London one was. He was part of the setting up of the exhibition and he gave me a couple of the big posters which I got framed and now hang on my wall !! The exhibition was in Shoreditch, very near Shoreditch high street overground station.

My old man has one of boneheads guitars and some stuff Owen Morris gave him. To cut a long story short, Owen lived up the road from us back when he was big time with Oasis. My old man was friends with Owen so would be around Oasis and other bands like Ash all the time. Bonehead turned up at my house one day in an Aston Martin... I didn't have a clue who he was because I was about 7 at the time. Loads of other stories I know that wouldn't be fit for youtube!

I agree. Loved the '90s Oasis. But it's like Noel lost his team of secret ghostwriters after 1997 or something. Always baffled me how the melodic-songwriting talent seemed to go AWOL in the '00s.

@@neilsun2521 It could be for a number of reasons. As you get older you question your instinctive side in order to become better and end up understanding your instinct but no longer having it . Noels a very smart and intuitional guy socially politically and in terms of pop culture. He's way ahead of the curve. But no matter how smart and intuitional you are your own creative process can become like a slippery eel once you lose your natural naivety hope faith and sort of natural abstract connection.

I've met all band members except for Bonhead and Alan. I met Guigs in 2002 and talked with him about Patrick (his son) and the Stones. He was great but I remember that some knob just had spilled beer on his shirt minutes before so he had had to change his shirt at the nearby hotel. Liam and Noel I've met loads of times, the best and most generous Rock n Roll stars ya'll ever going to meet. I met Keith Richards too in 2007 and in the same month Pete Townshend so I have met most of my musical heroes. I'd say the amps + the basses are number 1 for me, those items are just amazing!! I remember the Orange from my first Oasis gig in 1996, three days before Knebworth. Happy days!

I saw Oasis on June 11th 1994 in a free festival in Preston Park. I took some acid early on and decided to look down the sleeve of my girlfriend. It completely tripped me out and I don't remember much but all of a sudden I saw a man climbing over the stage tent and Oasis were playing. I also own a 7inch copy of their first record.
