This is a perfect example of "don't judge a book by it's cover." Brian looks rough, but he's a great, great guy. Christians usually don't have this powerful a testimony about God and Jesus because they've been with them their whole lives so they're frankly used to them. But people who experience the dark side of life have these powerful testimonies because they feel the difference, and it's amazing to them. I'm a devout Christian myself, and I must say that I too take The Lord for granted, so it's inspiring to see people like Brian. Sorry I ranted. I just wanted to offer my thoughts. Peace, friends!

I find the way Eric Metaxas is interviewing this wonderful person is annoying, invasive and at times rude. He interrupts Brian several times, stops him from completing his thoughts, has snarky judgmental remarks .. Eric is truly a bad interviewer but I was still able to be blessed by what Brian said and by April's input. #justsaying
@813lynch8 жыл бұрын
Eren Mckay i agree,i hate when people interview & ask a question then interrupt them. Why even ask a question if you are gonna interrupt and try to get in as many questions & get half assed answers because you only have a certian amount of time. Most interviwers don't give a damn about who they are interviewing. I would love to be a musical journalist.

Jesus, the two ppl interviewing him are so cheesy. It's like Good Morning America trying to interview Korn. I am so happy for Head though & proud of him! He stuck to his "Jesus Roots" and his rock roots. I started out a Jesus freak (preachers daughter) & became a metal head, rock singer, rock journalist, actress & then Jesus came back in my life again - the Lord met me where I was in the midst of my sin.... so I understand it is ALWAYS a journey with God! He never leaves his kids :) "Head" / Brian, Keep it up with Jesus. You're right, "God will use anything". The main people who stuck with me were Christians who originally came from major imperfections. They were no different than the "holy/ saintlike" people I met in my early christian roots/ childhood. They all played an intricate part in my walk with Jesus. Remember, Jesus hung out with hoodlums... thieves, prostitutes, etc. He didn't care - He loved us all the same - He saw a light in all of mankind and He still does. So very proud of you & happy for you! See you in Heaven buddy! xoxo Mia Jax Beach, FL

But, he does have respect for Brian for what he's been through and how he has dedcated his life to the Lord. I don't think the interviewers were bad. Eric, the male interviewer, just seemed like he wasn't used to being in such a serious conversation, but, that considered, he seemed to be paying enough attention to recognize when his jokes were too silly and misleading the conversation, and he tried to get back on track. Brian Welch was speaking from a deeper and quieter place than most people tend to when being interviewed. Nowadays, it's usually more shallow and comical. I think Eric showed more respect than many people would have. He engaged with Brian conversationally rather than just reading a script like a robot. I love this video and I'm disappointed by all the hateful comments toward the interviewer and the lack of other discussion.
