My wife once worked for a security company, she once got an assignment watching Ms Parton's tour bus. When Ms Parton saw who was watching her bus she sent one of her roadies to buy her a real nice chair and ordered her a real nice dinner delivered and some snacks and drinks. Gave her a signed photo and poster.

I worked on a couple of albums with Kenny Rogers in the late 90s and once when we were going to lunch, we drove by Dolly’s offices in Nashville and we pulled over so he could call her to invite her to have lunch with us. Sadly, she wasn’t in town, but I was freaking out that I was about to get to have lunch with Kenny and Dolly! That would have been so awesome! Kenny was a super great guy too.
