@@mike1156 I’m a year late on this, but lol is a liquid, if you were to say overfill your oil then it would be sucked into the cylinder heads and you can’t compress a liquid which would bed your piston rods making them useless and causing damage to your motor that is pretty much non-repairable. Hope my reply is good, anyone have any other info, comment back and tell me if I got anything wrong 👍🏻

T fitting the pair valves and then T fitting the crank to those & the filter. The pair valve on the valve cover was connected onto the airbox to vent
@brian6365 жыл бұрын
You can do that but then there is no venting of the motor which is very important.
@ApexPowerSportsllc5 жыл бұрын

Crazy, I don’t know if you know this but this is a mod on race engines, they use a “catch can” it lets the engine breathe easier and helps create a better piston seal, on Honda’s they use ports on the block and valve cover, I would keep the top ports connected and vented to help vent the engine better

If the breather is leaking oil, there’s something wrong with the valve in the breather. Oil shouldn’t be able to flow out of the valve until crankcase pressure exceed the pop off pressure of the valve which is set by the manufacturer. The only way I can understand oil in the intake blowing up a motor is because of the excess carbon over time? But that’s a stretch still. I don’t see the logic in what you’re doing. I would rather have oil in my intake than all over my ignition coils. If your bike is spitting oil, that’s not normal and sounds like a bad breather valve.
