From the build to the flights of your CZ T-28 2.0, I have been on the edge of my chair with envious emotions. That you can continuously talk sensibly during the most complicated maneuvers is a trait that is not only entertaining, but also very impressive. I'm happy to see you get so much enjoyment whenever, and whatever you fly. Edit: P.S. Kudos to the camera crew for some of the best quality filming on KZbin!

Very cool video, awesome content. I guess I'll never get to fly the UMX Conscendo, I ordered one online from Horizon Hobby on Dec.13 and still waiting for delivery. They showed the plane in stock, took my money and gave me an order number. It should only take 4 days to ship from Illinois to Florida. Their customer service really sucks, you can't connect to a live person, they don't respond to any emails and the live chat is useless. I'm ready to cancel my the order but probably no way to do that if they don't respond.

Great catch! 👍 I got 4 hours of dead calm flying today after weeks of flying in 10-15mph gusts. What a friggin joy. Rotated my FMS Maule and my UMX FrankenTimbX. The soccer fields behind my house are surrounded by trees, so its usually turbulent. Today, that Maule was floating a few feet off the ground, barn doors dropped, on absolute rails. Been flying in chop for so long, i forgot what a treat rc flying is, in dead calm. Cant wait for my UMX Air Tractor to get here! Awesome video, GREAT camera crewing! Helps when Brian keeps em low and slow 😊 Thanks for getting me hooked, guys 👍

While I often enjoy the occasional 10-15mph day, that kinda zoom requires a lengthy, calming, battery changing, cool-down period, after each 6 minute flight. The calm days are when I'm dialing in the technical stuff. Also, you're gonna enjoy the Air Tractor, its a versatile performer. Consider removing the gear, they're fragile.

Big B, I feel ya about missing a day or two without flying! Going to rain all day tomorrow...so I got the FW up for 2 batteries a little while ago. Camera Crew has done another amazing job. Fun planes to watch fly. Cheers and Happy New Years!

Yeah I saw it was going to rain and the wind is going to be crazy for the next week here in NC so I went out yesterday and flew for about an hour, It is raining so hard right now I can barely see the neighbors houses, Hope we don't get any tornadoes....

Happy new year! & Thanks! I'm always working on getting better as a pilot, but there are sooooooo many AMAZING pilots I've met over the years, and kinda make me look like a rank amateur, which is in and of itself, OKAY - we all start somewhere, and everyone gets the privileged, and responsibility to get better as we can ;) That's part of the fun!!!

Never put off till tomorrow what you can do today. As Brian says and shows it doesn't need to be the biggest and most expensive just grab a small cheap plane and sink your teeth in and work your way up. I know i started with a $32.00 Banggood plane. Hope to see you out at the flight field someday.

Brian do you think the clevis on the T28 need upgrading to ball and socket type? For a plane this size I was expecting a bit better than the plastic push pin type.
@BrianPhillipsRC10 ай бұрын
No, but if you want to, go ahead. I don't think it's "needed" but you might like it. I agree, there's some things that make you scratch your head on some planes, but I LOVE this plane just how it is. I'd love some nicer landing gear (spring loaded oleo's), and nose gear doors, but I love this plane otherwise. It's a GREAT flying plane.

Ok, I’ve not seen anyone comment on the gloves. I’ve seen you wear what looks to be latex gloves in different videos. Do they keep you warm or is there a different reason of wearing them?
@BrianPhillipsRC11 ай бұрын
Yes, they're nitrile gloves, like this - Nitrile Work Gloves amzn.to/3G63AAY I use a lot of different gloves like this while I'm working with my hands at work, and realized - WHY don't I use them when I'm flying RC - they DO help keep my hands a bit warmer, while I don't lose much, if any, dexterity - HOWEVER, this last part is a bit of a learned skill...since, like I said, I do work with them while I'm doing my day job. As for the drawbacks... Just get the "best" ones you can afford, or just get super cheap ones, and double, OR triple them up. Make sure you get the RIGHT SIZE...you don't want them sloppy, but you don't want them TOO tight, or they'll be self defeating. They also help keep your hands DRY, which is nice when you get to flying in snow. Give it a try if you wish, and YES as usual, that link will help support us, if it weren't already immediately obvious. Thanks!

My UMX Crescendo did not run on a 2s battery. Horizon Hobby is sending me a whole bunch of stuff to compensate for it not working properly. I recently bought a whole bunch of 2s batteries I'm not really interested in the speed of the UMX crescendo I bought it as a glider first and foremost. If anybody else is having this problem what's the UMX crescendo complain to Horizon Hobby you will be pleasantly surprised😊
