I was excited for Genmoji, but knowing that the emojis save to your stickers is just a little disappointing. Mainly because I really like organization, and the stickers tab isn’t very organized to me if I am being honest. I wish there were different folders you could make with the stickers tab.

@@mmo5366 But the point is that most of these features that need to send data to Apple servers aren't necessary to "engage with the modern world". Case and point your own comment above about being on the fence with the features. This indicates you will most likely barely or not use most of the features which means it's not necessary. I can anticipate a pivot to other information but this comment is specifically about this context @johnpallow6697 was replying to.

Wow. Thank you for this video! I love how visual intelligence has a couple different options . Via chat gpt, Google . I’m actually excited camera control has more to it than just taking pictures / videos . I LOVE how Apple has been able to implement chat gpt and all its AI thru out the system . The only feature that has an app of its own it’s image playground but everything else is integrated very well in the system . I get this is just a beta and it’s not as good as it’ll get but I’m liking it!! At first I didn’t care for AI but watching this has me excited now 🎉 Also , in a different video I seen you can go to siri in your settings to turn off the “use chat gpt “ question . And now when u ask Siri something it’ll pull from which ever source is better without asking if u want to use it or not . I find it very nice. It’ll get you whatever you asked without tapping on the screen again

What I like about Imagine Playground and Genmoji is that it is completely free. Though I do hope in the future they explore more on this software where you can make even larger images. Since for Playground, adding yourself always gives the same portrait type look. Which to me, would get boring pretty quickly. So there's a limit to creativity compared to the likes of ChatGPT's image generation. Maybe adding a description would change that a little but I haven't tried that since I don't download betas. Furthermore, Playground doesn't let you generate images that include people. Sounds ironic when you can get something for yourself. Example of this was another KZbinr, showing how image generation worked, drew a house and a stickman next to it. Apple Intelligence would only generate the house and no person. When he described for there to be a person, it wouldn't do it.

I don't think that these Genmoji's and Image Playground run in Apple's Private Cloud Compute. It is done on-device. PCC does not host the Apple Intelligence diffusion model.

I’ve noticed a bug since the iOS 18. When you pinch and zoom on a video, the slider is off alignment and you are unable to scrub forward or backward. 🤬

So errrr, from this video Apple Intelligence is not needed and I can just get a used iphone 15 plus on the cheap and be fine for the next few years without Apple Intelligence. By the time I will get ready to upgrade in 2-3 years in 2026 - 2027, Apple Intelligence should be a fully working and, actually useful.
