You deserve it bro! You capture what the true JDM enthusiast actually wants to see, the Underground shit. Most Japan based KZbinrs cover the big events, big shops, big names etc and thats cool, definitely a Market for that, but i LOVE the unknown, undergound shit. Its need to know and that to me, is where all the interesting stuff comes from Hell, what we know as "JDM" now started as just a bunch of guys trying shit out because they loved it and you sem to have a keen eye for that stuff. Never stop bro, fucking love everything you do Big Honda Nerd from Australia

Its so cool that in Japan they are still tracking 86´s, meanwhile here in Europe they are becoming 30000 euros garage queens
@BRICKHOUSESPL2 жыл бұрын
I hear you. They're definitely not cheap here but I think a lot of the cars that get tracked have been owned, modified, and enjoyed for a lot of years. Like they bought them - and maybe acquired an extra shell or two - when they were cheaper. And with a network of friends and shops with the same interests, they're likely easier to keep maintained and repaired when things go wrong.

Wow really liked that green AE86! What overfenders were they?

They might be something more universal fit (or intended for another car) like N-Style Customs or Uras flares. Just a guess though.

How much are 86s worth in Japan? It seems like only the real rich guys actually drift their 86s stateside.
@BRICKHOUSESPL Жыл бұрын
They're becoming ever more valuable but I would speculate a lot of drivers here have had the chassis for a long while and had the opportunity to buy spares (parts and cars) when they were much cheaper. I think those stashes are keeping these cars alive and able to be drifted in anger. To start here drifting with an AE86 in 2022 with like zero network of friends or shops to help when the car needs fixed, it would seem like a more daunting task...though I still really want one. Haha
@nismospek Жыл бұрын
@@BRICKHOUSESPL It seems that the non hatchbacks are still affordable stateside. Seen them go from low 3K to around 8K. The Hatches seem to go for over 20.
