BRICS Plus are all interested in trades and not wars. Why should countries be sanctioned by the US unilaterally just because the US believes that it is the world police? Resistance by West to any reform of key multilateral international institutions such as the Security Council, IMF, WHO WB, and others despite calls from the Global South has pushed these countries to look to for alternative institutions. That is what BRICS represents. The second issue is the issue of SWIFT and sanctions. The kind of sanctions imposed on Russia by the West scared a lot of countries in the Global South. More than the West realises.The wide range of sanctions opened the eyes of many to see just the extent to which they are more vulnerable than Russia is. The move to establish alternative payments system is in response to sanctions and need to be able to survive similar sanctions.

The BRICS consist of developing countries, and these countries have desire to have their independent but they are suppressed by the west in all aspect. I have worked in india , but sorry to say your country is too fragmented , too much things hold you guys back from being economically on par with china .
