The BRICS consist of developing countries, and these countries have desire to have their independent but they are suppressed by the west in all aspect. Example if they fall out of line they will be warned or sanctioned, or worst their leader replaced. The west had been rich at the back of these countries cheap labour, raw material, fuels, etc. by keeping the developing countries poor for centuries. sorry no offense to u . yes i am chinese by nature , but from singapore . I have worked in india , but sorry to say your country is too fragmented , too much things hold you guys back from being economically on par with china . Its not about the race , its jus your people are more balanced humans . you value culture , history , religions , and generally want to live a somewhat easy and peaceful life . i mean thats great . also the skilled labour and efficiency just isnt there . the corruption is really bad , china has too but u know how they are trying to clamp it down . when i worked in india , the workers couldnt meet deadlines . it always " tomorrow " . workers are just not as efficient as china's and you know the chinese really work like dogs 24hrs ...haha yes i am not saying its right . maybe china will suffer these repercussions in the future . i do however think potentially India has a really good chance to compete with china , but not in the next 20-30 years ...probably after that .
