I am a Canadian living in the EU right now. As a Canadian, I see what is happening here and trouble is coming. Many over here are fed up and many countries are talking about leaving the EU. What works for France does not work for Italy, Spain, Germany, or another EU country but the EU Parliament brings in rules and thinks each country should follow and support it. Yes, I like visiting the US and I did spend time there. What I found is Canada and the US are two very different places with very different ideas about many things. No, it is not a good idea to do an EU-type of agreement. I know many may not agree but that is my opinion.

Just reconfirms what i've already worked out. The liberal party must be kept as far away from power as humanly possible for at MINIMUM the next 30 years.

Our voting rules better change very fast. There is no reason why parties should be allowed to make these rules. This should be a constitutional law.

There's a movement on KZbin for non-Liberals (like myself) to sign up for the Liberal Party, after 41 days you're able to vote. I signed up and now am going to cast my vote for the tool Mark Gerretsen as Liberal Leader.

Letting non-citizens vote on your national affairs is utterly nonsensical and ridiculous. I'm saying this as someone who spent the last 11 years in Canada going through Canadian education, got a job, and now waiting for my permanent residency. I should not be able to vote. Those are the Canadians' privileges.

8:40 The UK, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, Poland, were all formed by merging multiple former sovereign countries. However, IF Trump were serious, he'd be making serious offers. Trump would honestly never expect 10 provinces and 3 territories to agree to become a single state with only two senators. Any serious offer would be starting with an offer of Canada becoming 10 states with twenty out of seventy senators. It would give Canadians considerable input into what policies the USA imposes on us. Eventually it will happen as a step towards globalism, but probably not for another 20 to 50 years.

They can extend prorogation. If they pass funding bill JT will immediately prorogue again before another non confidence vote can be held. Could the opposition vote non-confidence then ask the GG to allow them to form government. Election is not required.

The fact that non citizens can vote in the Liberal leadership race is disgusting and should be illegal. What O'Leary is proposing as an economic union type partnership with the US is a great idea. I mean, let's face it, Canada would crumble without the US to help us in defense and as a trading/economic partner. It would make logical sense to enter such a relationship since there is little chance of Canada building a significant military for self defense or building another market for our goods so why not?
