You need to look at what really happened. The truckers had a very reasonable and supportable complaint against the federal government. They did not have sufficient funds nor organisational skills to pull off the convoy so they sold their sole to Canada United. At that point it was no longer a reasonable protest but a national uprising against the government. It was through leveraging the innocent truckers cause by Canada United that resulted in the infamous MOU calling for the over throw of the government. I sympathized with the truckers and their cause but the resulting convoy and their backers trampled on everybody's rights and bullied downtown Ottawa for weeks. I completely disagree with the use of the EA to resolve it. I do certainly agree with it being forced out when it would not leave on its own accord. It was long past being a protest when it became an occupation.
