When they had dancing scenes and they were over and "Cut!", these two would continue dancing even after that and became like best friends so quickly. And in the interviews before the season came out, he would jokingly flirt and she would laugh, and everyone around them (particularly actresses that play Penelope and Edwina) would literally roll their eyes and say "These two"! And there's 0 awkwardness here, cause she knows he'd never make a move and he knows she's comfortable with him. Ugh. They're amazing together!

@@birdiewolf3497 that's funny but I also get it. his chemistry in Bridgerton (not just with Kate but with Siena too) was SO insane! it's hard to believe at first but I also feel like maybe it helps him portray straight characters because there is no sexual tension with his scene partners (at least on his part, not sure how the ladies felt lol)

Penelope was always taken for granted by Colin and Eloise so these friendship breakups are necessary in my opinion for their relationships to evolve. Penelope will be more confident in real life while Colin and Eloise will stop being so self-absorbed and insensitive to others. The way Eloise was talking down on Lady Whistledown's writing I can see why Penelope didn't tell her, she couldn't just be happy a woman is making money while scaring these rich people and exposing them.
