This is possibly one of my favorite Bright Eyes songs. A part of me hated how short it is, at first but at the same time it means so much and is so powerful despite being short. Very few songs have the power of this one, with just the emotions and lyrics and everything.

that was such a beautiful show. first row, right section... actually, he didnt seem that drunk at all compared to the other two Bright Eyes shows i've seen. such an incredible show.

@fuckme1nce The way I personally see it, there is no definite meaning. I'm sure maybe when he was writing it, it was specific to something in his life but now its basically yours. What I'm trying to say is that music is open for interpretation, so in my opinion the meaning is whatever it means to you. And theres no right or wrong or definite answer. =) Thats whats so amazing about music and art in general. Sorry if I'm no help at all haha
