I want Capcom to bring the series back so bad but also I would be worried they’ll screw up the story somehow given the series was originally a labor of love for Inafune. I do feel the Monster Hunter art direction is too maximalist for Legends. I prefer the clean anime look of MML2. Without going overboard on the environment realism. I liked how the Legends series let the eye fill in the blank on artistic detail. Also important to note we wouldn’t have Wind Waker or BotW art direction if we didn’t have Legends to do it first.

On the topic of the controls: Someone recently told me that the Legends 3 prototype was going to introduce a more modern control scheme, along with an option for the classic tank controls. I was also told that Volnutt himself would be an unlockable character.

Honestly Monster Hunter and Wind Waker is a great art style to adapt to the Legends series. I've said multiple times and probably a few times on this channel, but I'd love to see either a Legends 1 and 2 Remake, or at least a Legacy Collection. It would definitely sell like crazy bjt also give Capcom the chance to improve on the gameplay function, art style, extra story/lore they wanna add, or just extra content in general. Then we could finally get that Legends 3 for a nice conclusion..... or a gateway to more games, who know?? 😅😂 Awesome video as always 👍 Keep up the good work!

It's true, everyone misses Mega Man Legends a lot and what about the cancellation of the third game in the series with the presence of two new characters from the third game, which is Aero and Barrett, who are New Allies Mega Man Volnutt And Roll Caskett's,So There Will Be More New Bosses, New Side Missions And Lots Of New Things That Will Happen In The Third Game, I hope Capcom brings back the old game from the cancellation of the third Legends game and the fans really miss the franchise. 😔😔😔😔😔

I am a little hesitant to assume they are making a Legends or Star Force Collections. The original PSX Resident Evil games have not received a collection, and I expect Capcom to release Dino Crisis before Legends Collection. The problem with Legends is that it is a 3D PSX game, which Capcom are hesitant to rerelease for some reason. I honestly am expecting a Legends remake before a Legacy Collection. But you never know, they might release a Resident Evil Legacy Collection tomorrow, and then I might still have faith.

Man, even not being a "fan" if Mega Man, Legends really just looks appealing to me! I won't lie, it's mostly the art style that pulls me in, but I do also have some thoughts on gameplay. I do agree with you on how they should take a Legends Arceus approach, allowing revisits of certain zones upon upgrading and taking on quests. I don't know much about the actual gameplay/combat, but I'd enjoy an elevated sense of platforming, especially if they add more verticality to levels. There could even be some value in adding 2D segments, I think. But yeah, Legends 3 has gotta be coming! As a Sonic Adventure fan, I stand with my Mega Man Legends brothers and sisters in waiting for our sacred 3rd entry!🫡

I've lost hope that Capcom will ever give megaman legends the respect it deserves. They are far too immersed in trying to chase the trends, and right now the trend of capcom fans is the desire for a new dino crisis game, and more devil may cry. I could see a Legends collection happening just because of the trend of Megaman collections compilation titles we've had over the last few years, and if they are feeling froggy, maybe including the original japanese demo disk content from the japanese Misadventures of Tronn Bonn finally translated for western audiences, but that's about as far as I can see. Maybe a boss rush mode like the MMX collections. I would buy it. And of course I would definately buy MML3 or a Remake of MML1/2 if those ever happened, I just sadly can't picture capcom playing into the more niche community of Legends Enjoyers. So for now, I will Enjoy the fact that I have Legends 1 and 2 CiB and lament the insane price tag on even just a loose beat up disk of Misadventures of Tron Bonn has attached to it on ebay and other seller sites. The sadness of never being able to get my hands on that game will forever haunt me. Still want that prologue "demo" they promised and never delivered.

This might sound strange but i think an "Misadventures of Tron Bonne 2" would be more marketable, especially if they give it an independent name or just pull a "Doom" and call it Misadventures of Tron Bonne with which they can then treat it as a independent creation, despite the fact that's still a continuation of the whole Legends Tron Bonne. They then can use it to market the servbots, Tron herself. Her whole family kind of get people independently psyched up for the setting and basically market The wider setting separate from mega Man and such a game can kind of keep it distant from mega Man in a way while at the same time, presenting the whole thing in a way that they can try to open up the market again, market the whole thing out to people or sell various different adventure stories. What not expanded side content that they can DLC or put out in a separate book etc. Etc. And at the same time they can pretend it's its own new IP without actually having to make a new IP because let's face it even amongst the mega Man fans, How many of us are actually that deep into mega Man Legends where we would be able to immediately point out the connections between just the world without the blue bomber marking it all out as being part of the mega Man overall story arc.

On the Open world part of the video, I'd say something more like Borderlands 1+2 might do better, the hub zones being the true open areas while everything else is extensive interconnected and overlapping game maps/dungeons that way everywhere is always full and attention can be put into making it lively because the overall failing of open world is that you get a lot of just overall empty areas which for a survival style game like Minecraft, V-Rising etc is fine since you also have resource harvesting, but with that style of developing for a action adventure game you need players to be constantly given something to work towards or a subtle sense of direction, or as frontiers did put so much ADHD on the map anyone with ADHD will waste hours jumping from thing to thing until accidentally hitting the story, and i have yet to find anyone who actually complains about Borderlands feeling too linear in its map design. Which then that style combines well with Legends 1 where all the Ruins were actually interconnected and you could travel the entire island via the ruins. Now apply that to every part of each island and treat the Flutter (or its equivalent) as a hub zone that transports you from island to island and you've gotten a great design so long as you don't over simplify the maps like the "Tales of" JRPG games do wince those cause players to skip returning entire map sections due to lack of being connected to anything of interest and fast travel existing.

Capcom. Seriously. Go up to Inafune, and the rest of the OG Legends team with one of those giant novelty cheques they give to lottery winners. Make sure it's blank, and just tell Inafune to write the biggest number on it that he can think of. Then, give him free reign to do whatever he needs to make MML3 as special as its' predecessors. God knows you've made worse investments.
