U.K. shape-shifters Bring Me the Horizon's apocalyptic cyber-metal EP, POST HUMAN: SURVIVAL HORROR, is one of the year's best releases. Revolver recently caught up with keyboardist-producer Jordan Fish to discuss the record’s narrative, DOOM soundtrack composer Mick Gordan's involvement, the bits he connects to the most, and if he'd answer the internet's request for BMTH collaborate with Mike Shinoda. In addition, Fish explains how he dreaded writing after the Grammy-nominated amo despite its success, why “Ludens” felt like a rebirth and why POST HUMAN: SURVIVAL HORROR's end feels “slightly incomplete."

Absolutely brilliant song and its a testament to the quality of the EP that such a fantastic song isn't considered THE song. On lesser records it would be a standout but all the tracks on here are so good.

Its a great song yeah but I would rank it in 4th on the ep. the order goes like this for me: 1. Kingslayer 2. Parasite Eve 3. Dear Diary 4. 1x1 5. Teardrops 6. Obey 7. One Day 8. Ludens

Their new album is so advanced for our time, I think they will go down as one of those bands that future bands will take inspiration from. They’re such a unique diverse band from their Suicide Season era and their music evolution onwards, it just gets better and better 🤟

Under values his part in the process though. I'd put him and Oli at joint 1st place. They'd be equally in the shit without either 1 of them. The whole band actually. But Oli and Jordan are the cement for sure.

Me too. It was all about Oli for me. But him and Oli are the cement that holds this band together. He under values himself. Gives Oli all the credit. But they're both equally important IMO. The band would fall apart and be dog shit without either 1 of them for sure 😊❤

Teardrops probably connects with Jordan because Oli is talking about howbthe band brought him bk out of his head, well as much as you can when you struggle with mental health anyway. And the video when he's pulled out the water,(nor drowning in his head anymore) that was so powerful and obviously the band helping him out if that hell. So well done and very emotional to see. Love that they're all really close friends which is probably a big help, but can probably be hell atbthe same time. Mire guitar solos please Oli. Lee is awesome. And Jordan, don't under value your obvious talent and value in the band. Im sure Oli would say you are very valuable. Your all great. And it wouldn't be the same without any of you. Number 1 band for me. So excited when you deip new music. And the only band i can put on shuffle and never get bored. 🖤🖤🔥🔥🤘🤘

Close yes. But better in alot of ways too. Love the hybrid theory album, but to me that's the only album worth shouting about. Mike's rapping seemed forced into every song, and it didn't always work. Chester had lots of potential to be 1 of the greats. But I don't believe in blowing smoke up someone's arse just because they've gone. Yeah it's really sad. But 1 album doesn't make them god's. Influencial, yes. And I'll always be grateful for that. Rip Chester. ❤

How to describe BMTH. WOW how do you do that. I've always said linkin park but way better and more technical. IMO linkin park only had 1 great album. Mike kinda ruined it for me. It was like they forced his part in all the songs where it just didn't work at all. They are what drew me to BMTH because of that original great sound, which i appreciate. Its sad he died for sure, but they're not the legends people make out just because he died, and people do that so much. Chester had so much more potential. Rip❤
