How is no one talking about this is not the full song, there is an instrumental beginning to this song , I distinctly remember it because I would almost fall asleep to it in highschool and then it would scare me so bad I would wake right back up.

Our legs begin to break We've walked this path for far too long My lungs, they start to ache But still we carry on I'm choking on my words Like I got a noose around my neck I can't believe it's come to this And dear, I fear That this ship is sinking tonight I won't give up on you These scars won't tear us apart So don't give up on me It's not too late for us And I'll save you from yourself And I'll save you from yourself Our legs begin to break We've walked this path for far too long My lungs begin to ache But still we carry on I'm choking on my words Like I got a noose around my neck I'm not coming home tonight I'm not coming home tonight 'Cause dear I fear, dear I fear I'm not coming home tonight I'm not coming home tonight 'Cause dear I fear This ship is sinking Is there hope for us? Can we make it out alive? I can taste the failure on your lips Is there hope for us? Can we make it out alive? I can taste the failure Close your eyes There's nothing we can do But sleep in this bed that we made for ourselves You're trapped in your past Like it's six feet under I won't give up on you These scars won't tear us apart So don't give up on me It's not too late for us I'll save you from yourself I'll save you from yourself I'll save you from yourself I'll save you from yourself Try to numb the pain With alcohol and pills But it won't repair your trust You can't stand on two fucking feet With a substance as a crutch I won't give up I won't give up on you We'll play this symphony I won't give up I won't give up on you We'll play this symphony of sympathy I won't give up I won't give up on you We'll play this symphony of sympathy I won't give up I won't give up on you We'll play this symphony of sympathy

Maybe it’s just me but Suicide Season has a weird glitchy sound mixing only heard on one other album of there’s which is amo. Like I hear a little bit of sound distortion here and on amo, but none on TIAH, Semp, or TTS. The first time i listened to Chelsea Smile I heard the part where there’s like an instrumental synth thing and I thought i was actually listening to amo. Check that song out and you’ll see what I’m saying. And here there’s heavy stuff of course but there’s a little glitchy-ness too. But here they must be testing the waters. Idk maybe I’m blanking on the other albums but it’s like they stopped it after Suicide Season and then brought it back for amo, and songs like Ludens and Parasite Eve. Maybe BMTH’s progression wasn’t as linear is most ppl suggest who knows

@user-yi9yb9nt6u2 жыл бұрын
Yeah if you’re working through their discography in chronological order this is definitely the first album that kinda foretold their rise to be what they are now. The earlier deathcore stuff is great in its own right, albeit not for everyone, but this is when they really learned how to refine that aggression and take it to a wider audience.

maybe because sonny moore was cool with BMTH when he was in From First To Last, talk about just being creative with music and mixing screams and synths, id say he did good, not the best choice of song to do it with, but i'd say he did pretty decent, or at least better than other "DJ's" would, he at least knows metal,screamo,hardcore and all other genres referring to this type of music. thumbs up for trying to stay close to where he came from.
