I would do the following if you want to maintain value (in no particular order); 1. Paint repair 2. Remove gauges in car and repair fitting damage 3. Remove turbo and all associated parts (Return to stock) 4. Remove engine for complete engine bay overhaul Hope this helps

Easy fixes. Bring it back to stock, do a compression test, full tune up on the motor, get the dents fixed, correct the paint, get it detailed, and you should be all golden. A type R like that is very hard to find; especially with only 36K miles. Congrats on the find.

Jason Ricci They never last long buddy. Real Type-Rs are hard to come by. Either kids snagged them up and destroyed them, or they're tucked away in someone's garage waiting for an upswing in the value. The B18C5 that's in those cars are worth a fortune alone. I have one in my Civic with forged internals and I love that engine. It NEVER fails to put a smile on my face. I would give my left you know what for a real Type-R in Pheonix Yellow.

Love these 01 Integra Type-R's especially in Phoenix Yellow they pop in that color. Deff good buy on your end. I would of deff kept this car as Collector vehicle unless a better example showed itself and was worth buying it. Kuz nowadays these ppl want million dollars for even Salvage Title and Rebuilt Title Integra Type-R's. Like its krazy!!.

I have the same engine in my car with a big turbo that makes 508 whp on relatively low boost and if I had the chance and the cash to buy a real Type-R, best believe I would. Madd Max nothing is beyond saving. Let someone who corrects paint for a living(like myself) take care of it. That paint does not look that bad. You can Decon and cut that paint down but being a novice can backfire really quickly at one wrong move.

Luke Ellis because it has a great naturally aspirsted engine that doesnt require it. If your looking for boost straight off the bat, dont look at hondas. The fun in hondas is keeping the rev range in the powerband

Car is worth dbl stock. If he restores in a few years and has an all ORIGINAL 2 OWNER 50K/mile ITR car would be worth 12-15k. Turbo fwd is useless anywhere but on the highway.

+Haulin- rick the pressure washer is a small unit and not very strong. I can spray it on my hand point blank safely. Not exactly comfortable to do, but it won't take my skin off, so it's fine on the paint.

Buddy you are scratching the shit out of that car. You started out good foaming it, but I would have used the pressure washer to rinse it off, then come back with the soap and sponge to get the stubborn stuff. You want to minimize moving the loose dirt around on the paint. Second, you should really use two buckets with grit guards because you're taking dirty water and applying it to the paint again. Third, do not clay the car after loosening the dirt, but before rinsing it!

Go to chemicalguys.com they have the best soap and details kit in the market. That sponge was used back in the days. Go to pepboys and get the green glove with hiar Strings
