You guys are very lucky, ive got a brother but we haven't talked in 16 years , we just do not get along, I'm not perfect of course but he is an extreme narcissist and really only cares about himself, always needs to be the center of attention, I won't use his real name but when we would have dinner at my mom's he would bring his girlfriend and it was always the Jim and Jane show, if you know what I mean then you know what I mean, he is the kind of guy that if you're not in the room then you are the person he is talking about ,then when you come in the room it's whoever leaves the room that's who he starts talking about, to him if you can make someone else look bad I think he thinks it makes him look better, I just couldn't stand it anymore he has been the same way since we were young kids and will probably never change, I am jealous of these guys having a brotherly relationship

did you see the pile of lumber out front and all the new dirt they brought in in the past episode. A new bend pack lift delivered in this one. Looks like the party is just getting started. Don't feel bad Ben I tore all the ligaments in my wrist doing the same thing with a drill. I never max out the torque on drills anymore, and I use impacts for most everything as they are nicer on my wrists.

I always thought the same thing about nascar lug nuts, until I saw them. The lug studs are about an inch or so longer than required. The part that extends does not have threads on it just a smooth rod that just fits through the nut. They use yellow weatherstrip glue and glue the lug nuts onto the wheel. When the wheel goes on the nuts are pushed off the wheel but stay on the smooth rod part that holds them straight.

To stop the drill from attempting to brake ones wrist, grind down the drill bit so the cutting edge distance to the point is shorter, that will stop the drill bit trying to cut a very coarse thread through a hole that is almost to size. Twisting ones wrists sure can be painful. This is a segment called "Useful tips from a subscriber"

Paul, there is an easy way to stop drill bits from grabbing and breaking your wrist. Just touch (I mean just touch) the inside edge of both blades to your stone bench grinder. You'll see. It's magic.

I used to cut the foam inside the rc cars tires into a beveled gear shape so they could squish easier to grip and put a little handful of bb's in the tire with the foam to keep the center of gravity as low as possible. Those little rc crawlers are a blast.

When you are checking the torque of a previously installed and torqued fastener, you do it while measuring the torque it takes to loosen the fastener. All for of the main cap bolts in that carrier we over torqued. The wrench just beeped when it reached 80 lbs.

I sure like the chrome wheels on the fork lift. One time l was trying to take the bolts out of mod 30 carrier for the front of my Jeep. I didn’t realize they were all left hand threads and broke every one of them off. I was very uninformed in those days about 30 years ago. Thankfully l had a friend who got all the studs out. I learned a big lesson.

use a piece of chain to make a loop to put around the drill and the hole , then use a twisting motion the but presser on the bit. start slow, if you twist the right direction it can't brake loose. I start doing this method at a repair shop in 1979 to drill truck frames. tools needed light chain and a bolt nut and washers to make the proper length.
