My dad ordered the E-Ray in the exact Speck as his 2020 C8 Red with black interior black carbon flash arrow only difference he ordered the black wheels Instead of the Silver wheels . When the car came in they only offered $57 for his 1700 miles 2020 C8 he ended up backing out and we just ordered Some Signature wheels in Black he good with that 👍🏻

I'm having a very hard time deciding between the Eray and Z06. Both are very special in their own ways. I love the FPC exotic sound of the Z06, the low weight and rawness of it. The Eray's brutal torque slaps your face into the seat! I dislike the weight of it, tho Ive heard pro drivers from NCM say that it handles it very well and actually hides it. I ride motorcycles and understand keeping the revs up and the glorious sound of the American made Ferrari. However, I love the immediate torque thrust, as I just bought another MT09 and it beats my R6 like Suzuki Bandits engine all day long. I may have to do the track day Eray vs Z06 @ NCM for $1800-2600 or do a Spring Mountain course out of pocket.

I kinda agree, the wide body is best selling point, I have a Z06, and the wide body car seems more stable / planted. Having said that a regular stingray is an amazing car as well, I drive my 2020 C8 the most. The Eray AWD is a cool feature and the extra 160hp , not to mention the ceramic brakes, I think it’s well worth the extra $$. Knowing what I know now, I would have been inclined to wait and get an Eray instead of Z06, I know a lot of people are like the sound of Z06 as I do to, however I like the 6.2 traditional V8 sound as much or more. The Eray with the electric wine sound, kinda like a super charger sound. So having said all of that. My next car I am shooting for will be a ZR1, followed closely by an Eray if a ZR1 is not obtainable in next couple model years. I do have coming very soon a Cadi CT5v Blackwing, closest thing to a 4Dr Corvette. Nice video, look forward to part 2.

E ray will be the C8 to own. And a Zora with a manual… the battery technology will only get better over time. So in 15 years a new battery will be incredible. Will provide more power and longer life… and will be much cheaper than today’s price… so let the haters hate. If GM is smart about their corvette history then the Eray and Zora will be the best choice of all C8. Now how do you get GM to sell us this 7 speed manual transmission for the C8?!?

I really want one. I’m on the fence. We never buy any of our vettes thinking of resell, but I’m really concerned because of some of the bias against this car, which is unfair that it’s absolutely gonna get destroyed from depreciation perspective because of unfound worries. Am I just being overly paranoid? I found one that they’re willing to give me 10 K off of but not sure that’ll help deflect depreciation enough. It’s a 141K MSRP. Thoughts? Man throw part two out there I have to make my mind up tomorrow on the car.

I would never buy a GM generation hybrid out of warranty. I suspect when the depreciation is going to be exorbitant post warranty. I do love the car and if I could afford to buy a new one and own it for 2 years and sell it I'd do it. I assume at some point there will be a Grand sport model which will be the eray minus electric motor, are the stingray plus widebody. That's what I want!

The wide-body always wins in looks, in every C-model year that tactic was implemented. I also believe the C8s are the first model since the C2s that the engineers successfully designed a plain old Stingray to be just as desirable as the most expensive of that respective model. However the C8 Z06's and the E-Ray's performance has killed that notion, again.
