Brian Smith's teams had a habit of beating Wayne Bennett's teams in the regular season and even in a finals game like this but couldn't do in Grand Finals.

@troystaunton254 kicked for touch alot to slow Broncos back 3. Brian Smith very tactically sound but his parra teams were prone to a choke or two in big games.98 and 05 preliminary come to mind.

All they had to do was play for the final 15 minutes of the Canterbury game and they would have. Instead, they shut up shop and tried to cruise their way to victory and it cost them dearly.
