24:18 green means ok, yellow means get ready etc., no light at all means you are supposed by Brita to buy a new jug.

@@sutatsthis only helped me partially as I was here to see the whole setting up process which didn’t happen. I was going to buy this jug to see if it was worth buying but as you didn’t do the set up process I am now stuck. I cannot find any videos on KZbin on how to set this up. So I will not be buying this until I see how it is done and how long it takes for the filtering of the water. Ignore anyone that mentions ocd as I have this. Would have been useful to see how to set it up as there is no one to help me through this. Great video though on the whole jug presentation. Just wish you had set it up to see how it’s done. Now I am stuck. 🤷🏻‍♀️ is it worth buying? Thanks

I hate single use electronics. After I discovered that LCD bar indicator in a lid of my previous jug has non-replaceable battery, I said farewell to Brita.

These days, there’s a lot of talk about microplastics and avoiding drinking or eating from containers and bottles made of plastic. I’m slowly replacing my kitchen’s plastic containers with glass ones. I was also considering replacing my old Brita filter jug. However, after watching your review, I now know I won’t. What’s the point of spending more money on a product where the cartridge holding the filter, into which water is poured, is made of plastic? Utter nonsense! I’ll have to find another solution. :(
