Huzzah! I pictured little Vampires running in fear from the Ordnance QF 25-pounders wood stakes and would definitely have created that play scenario as a kid... of course, I'd have to practice to ensure it actually was "QF/quick firing" as with my shaky hands I'd be dropping stakes left and right and finding them with my bare feet in the middle of the night. Anyways, thank you Retro Toy Guy SI for another entertaining video. Alright, back to tiny Vampire watch... thankfully the sun is nearly full up here!

It always makes me wonder why they did the land rover as that a 70s vehicle with British Tommy's from the 2nd World War lol guess it was we need a vehicle that will do lol. Love the britains deetail figures hoping to get the full range of American civic War and who knows what else lol Great video

The poses of these figures sure bring them to life, as frozen in the middle of an action. Are there figures or vehicles you would like to see Britains release, or pieces you always missed in the Britains lines?

Interesting question, well there is the frogmen/mini sub set that I used to have as a kid that would be nice to get again (my one has gone missing somewhere) but it’s quite expensive. I still live in hope of finding my old one someday. I also remember having a little motor boat but can’t quite remember which version I had. It would be nice to have an SAS line where they were equipped in the classic black with the gas masks on (iconic Iranian embassy look). The different color berets are different regiments. The red beret guys are paratroopers.

Yes indeed, the red caps are Paras (although they should be burgundy not bright red) and the green caps are commandos. They did make SAS figures with grey caps, but I don't have any of those, yet 🤔 😁 Thanks for watching 😊 👍

It’s one of those things that I never did as a kid, not sure why, probably because I always had enough of the original ammo. The cocktail sticks were fun 😁 Thanks for watching 😊👍

I don't recall having any Britains toys but they do have charm. Do they scale with the little plastic army men that were everywhere when we were kids?

Yes they scale well with the little green army men and I used to bulk up my Britains army with plastic cannon fodder back in the day. They also go well with the larger Corgi vehicles. They definitely have a charm and are nice to collect as they are not insanely expensive, easy to find and don’t take up too much space. Jason also has quite the Britains collection going on. I had the Britains naval gun. When I lost the original shells, I used cut up toothpicks, which worked pretty well.

From what I understand Britains are now owned by TOMY and I have seen new versions of the WW2 figures with better paint application but I don't know the price. The best thing to do is to look them up on Ebay or Google search. Thanks for watching 🙂
