Virtualbox works fine with 32-bit Windows up to Windows 7 without virtualization but when I switch virtualization on and try to run any existing machines, they fail to run, I've turned the Virtualization stuff in VM settings on and off but it doesn't make a difference. I believe it's because of an issue with Hyper-V paravirtualization.

Does enabling virtualization in the BIOS affect the performance of my PC when I'm not running a virtual machine? I use Oracle VM VirtualBox once in a while, but I don't need it often. Any advantage of disabling it after I am done using Oracle VM VirtualBox?

I noticed no difference in performance when it is enabled. However, I only use a virtual machine once in a while and of course it is slower than running the OS natively.

I haven't noticed any performance degradation on my PCs at home if I'm not using a VM. However, as I'm sure you know, your VM will take up disk space on your host PC.

note for people using speccy or similar to get a quick look at cpu specs, it gave me wrong information about virtualization on an i3 windows 10 machine. Windows 10 itself reported correctly.

So i tried for enabling vt without using bios ( i tried with powershell).Then after restarting , i saw in performance in task manager , that is saying ( not capble).Is there any hope that i can get vt on my computer?

I follow your steps, set SVM model as enable. then task manager->performance->virtualization change enable. But use systeminfo.exe, got message ""A hypervisor has been detected. Features required for Hyper-V will not be displayed.". I don't know why?

Hey when I run a game client I check in task manager. Ram usage almost 2k MB. AND ALSO shows no virtualization. So turning it virtualization make a client or program to use a tual physical ram.

I don't sse a "Hyper V" or a "Windows Sandox" anywhere in my Windows Features, and virtualization IS enabled. I have the "Virtual Machine Platform" and a "Windows Hypervisor Platform" though.
