If you want to learn urdu to travel to Pakistan, you don’t need much. English is an official language over there. Maybe a two week quick course on introductions, asking for directions, etc might serve well but if you watch British and American travel vloggers going to Pakistan, they basically start from scratch

This male singer has the most soothing voice also he is like the King of sad songs but his voice is so attractive without a doubt. Feelings come through these voices we hear this song, the female voice is extremely unique as it can get. My age, my situation everything is related to this song. It's close to my heart. This song gets me deep.

One of my favorite songs from CS14. A very somber song and lyrics. My sister taught Urdu to some US State Dept. people in Washington DC as a side job as a course in a college. Usually 8 months to 1 year and you should be able to carry a conversation

Yeah mate I'll be honest, Basic conversational dialogue would take you about 6 months. ( Accounting for the occasional lack of motivational gaps in-between.) You just have to immerse yourself in it. Put it this way, most of the time Urdu sentences will be Inverted for an English speaker. learning English is relatively easy since we are immersed around it through upbringing and content on the Internet . It might be more difficult for you since you have to step out of your way to Immerse yourself in it.( coming from a guy who gave up learning French halfway).

There are many online courses you can take to learn the basics of the language and the rest is just practice by speaking to others, listening to Urdu (songs, radios), etc. Or visit Pakistan, and hang out with lots of Pakistanis who don't speak English, that's the best way to learn is to be around people who don't speak your language and you are forced to communicate in their language. :)
