The British Government introduced this EU rule over a month ago, stating that our farmers will not get grant payments unless they leave their fields to 'wild' i.e. produce no crops or food. Britain has never produced enough food to feed our population so introducing the WEF/EU rule shows that we have Brexit in name only. Hence we are still committed to sending ever increasing £Billions to the EU. The EU are still allowed to fish right up to our shores. We are still in the ECHR and we are still obeying every EU rule and EU law. We allowed the annexation of Northern Ireland to maintain THEIR border but they can send all their unwanted migrants here ignoring our border. We gave control of our Intelligence services and armed forces to the EU and have signed up to allow the WHO to dictate UK policy for the 'next' pandemic. This was not Brexit; it was a treasonous betrayal by the establishment to allow a future Government to negotiate an EU return.

I agree with the theory but the government - whether Labour or Conservative, will always support the supermarkets rather than the farmers. If MPs were really honourable they would FORCE supermarkets to reduce THEIR profit margins & pay a FAIR price to farmers & growers. The price of fertiliser, the truck tax, all this "imperfect" food that supermarkets "don't want", being told what to do on our land and how to farm it, banks refusing the help, the pressure to go bigger the purposeful manipulation of the weather. It got on and on. We are livestock farmers in Western Australia and the government sent "a panel" around last year to "ask" us to "tell them" what to do as an alternative to the live export trade the current government want to abolish. Yes we do trade overseas, to countries who do not have refrigeration so pre processed meats are not the product they want. They were basically telling us they were shutting down our industry and asking us to help them think of alternatives. It's shit! It's farmers all over the world in all different types. You get rid of farmers there will be no food anywhere, no gardening, no lush green space because believe it or not the grass on the lawn is grown by turf FARMERS! Do NOT bit the hand that feeds you because there WILL be backlash. We need to break these unelected elite bodies apart and never let them reform again. We ALL care about our planet. Farmers are the foremost experts on what to put in the soil to improve the nutrition. They've been doing things that are only just discovered by the dingbats in power for years!
