Is ganache sturdy enough to hold up a 2nd layer in a number cake (big drops next to each other and then the 2nd layer on top with decorations etc)

Thanks! I haven't made eggless doughnuts - I use my regular cake batter but if you have a recipe you like for eggless cake, you can use that for doughnuts :)

Thanks! Great question - it depends on the consistency of the puree. If it's quite watery it will thin the ganache out too much to be able to frost a cake, but if you simmer the puree for long enough so that it's an almost jam-like consistency you'll be able to add more

I haven’t tried that but coconut cream is a great non-dairy substitute. Please let me know how it goes if you try non dairy cream!

Oh ganache, my one true love! I swear by now my diet is 70% chocolate ganache. Use it all the time on my cakes and bakes in all form and my favourite is eating leftovers with the spoon 🙈😂

Other than a slight difference in the flavour based on the brand of chocolate, I haven't found it to make a difference

Hello! What is the % of cocoa in your chocolate chips? Or what brand of chocolate chips do you use? I found that even with following the ratios accordingly, if you use different types of chocolate, you would have to change the ratios otherwise it won't work.

This is helpful for low carb/keto diet for a sweet fix. As long you use sugar free chocolates or another type low carb to sweeten to your taste 😍

That cake looks so good! I tried to follow your tutorial but failed.. Are you really supposed to let it cool completely when doing a drip? My ganache got THICK at room temp. Like peanut butter consistency. The frosting turned out, but not the drip 😬

There is something so nostalgic about the way you speak. I can't quite remember , maybe the accent along with the rhythm and tone of your speech....some TV show from long ago perhaps. I thought it was similar to Korg from the avengers movie( which it kinda is).....but I think it goes way past that. Anyways your videos are amazing. Very informative and innovative.

If you use more chocolate it will make a thicker ganache that will last longer in heat but no frosting that I know of is stable for long periods of time in very hot temperatures
