She is in a conservatorship, which are intended for elderly people with dementia, since 2008. She has not controlled her own medical decisions, been able to drive her car without permission, get married or even pregnant, or vote in that time. She has been classified as unable to function or make decisions. Months after being put under the arrangement her handlers had her releasing an album and embarking on a world tour, The Circus Starring Britney Spears. She has been on 4 world tours, performed a residency 4x a week for 4 years, judged X factor and produced 4 albums since then. Why is a woman deemed too sick to make basic personal decisions working an absolutely gruelling load? Yet, she has not been allowed to have a phone with internet access, email, or make calls without supervision. She is watched by 24/7 security she didn’t choose, and even her children have only been allowed to visit her so long as the conservators are happy with her behaviour. She has protested this since the beginning when she was held on a 5150 and her father, who Britney says has always been an abusive alcoholic, filed for a temporary conservatorship on the basis that she has dementia. The arrangement is now permanent & shows no signs of stopping thanks to corrupt judge Brenda Penny, court appointed attorney Samuel Ingham, and scummy business manager Lou Taylor profiting greatly from its existence. Most of the entities involved are under investigation for other abuses of powers and people. Late 2018, Britney was coming off her 4+ year Vegas residency, looking and performing at an absolute peak. She allegedly stopped taking the medications forced on her, so her dad pulled support from her projects and forced her into a mental facility for 3 months against her wishes. Impersonating Britney on her Instagram as they have done and still do, they wrote a statement that she made the choice to take the time off to help care for her ailing father. Once the information leaked that she was actually forced into the centre, the handlers pivoted and fed the press statements about her “cocktail of medications” becoming ineffective, claiming she was near death, so they had no choice but to commit her. Following the statements, the recent Instagram posts showing her in tip-top shape were deleted, because they couldn’t push their false narriative of her being near death when her feed showed an extraordinarily able-bodied performer with a sound mind. Britney found the strength to speak out against them in court despite the courts denying her every basic human right and any due process since this entire charade began so long ago. She spoke about being forced medications and having her children used as pawns, begging again for her freedoms to be reinstated. Ever since Britney spoke out, she seems to have mentally declined at an alarming rate. Britney now rocks back and forth while speaking in her Instagram videos, her pupils are often times noticeably dilated, and she behaves nothing like the woman that owned the world before she was put under these controls. Let’s remember, she is not in charge of her own medical decisions. She does not control her own Instagram page. She has been gaslight, isolated, drugged, stripped of her wealth and children, for over twelve years. The conservatorship is currently under investigation. Her doctor passed away days before he was due to give his report on her medical care. There have been no other findings presented to the courts from the investigation yet. Britney is on hiatus from work as a protest against the arrangement. So, the handlers dug out all her old costumes and props, stuck them in an abandoned K-mart, and are charging $60 a head for people to walk through it. They also release hideously cheap looking but overpriced merchandise at lightning speed. The pathetic and transparent attempt to milk Britney’s legacy for everything it’s worth (with none of the proceeds going to Britney herself) is called Britney The Zone . Please, spread the word, public pressure is the only thing that could possibly help unwind this. So, is Britney okay?! No! #FreeBritney #BoycottBritneyBrand

The new generation doesn't have any notion about the weight of the name BRITNEY SPEARS at that time, neither about how powerfull is this video. I’ve watched it something like a hundred time (i was born in 1999), but it stills making me feel completely breathless ❤️🇧🇷 A nova geração não tem ideia alguma do peso do nome BRITNEY SPEARS naquela época, nem mesmo do quão poderoso é esse vídeo. @Alice Edgewater i copied this from another comment: She is in a conservatorship, which are intended for elderly people with dementia, since 2008.

Yes, she's biggest of the teen pop stars to emerge in the late 1990s, but other than this? no. This will probably get buried but Britney is so fucking talented and that’s what kills me about how mistreated she’s been and is being. The thing about her that was (and is) so incredible is that she came out of the gate swinging as a performer, putting all of herself into her music and her dancing and being a consummate entertainer. She was a legend long before she was even legally allowed to drink in the US and respected by her older peers. I mean, she was only 19 (!) YEARS OLD here and holy shit did she kill this track and this video. Those dance moves aren’t easy at all. But Britney has always been so disrespected by the public as dumb or untalented, which is just blasphemous tbh because she was always so smart with her career moves, she was very articulate in interviews even when she was like a literal CHILD, and she just knows how to commandeer a stage and get everyone’s attention IMMEDIATELY. You can’t be an unintelligent idiot to be Britney Spears. The amount of sexism that people spewed at her just because she was (and is) a beautiful girl (who can utilize her sex appeal) was always so, so unfair. Now she’s been trapped in a conservatorship and unable to do what she really loves. The legacy she built (with her producers and writers ofc, I know she didn’t do it singlehandedly) is insane and she’s basically a prisoner in her own home and has been for 13 years. The “care” that she’s been put under treats her like an elderly person who can’t help themselves, not a woman in her thirties who had a breakdown nearly 15 years ago and has done so much since, including multiple INCREDIBLE residencies in Vegas where she’s had to work her ass off, for fuck’s sake. Her POS dad and his henchmen need to let her live freely. #FreeBritney

... uh solarge did you really call britney a white teenybopper? really.?. when we think of britney, janet jackson is nowhere near a thought. janet is nowhere near that "white teenybopper" whos in her 30s now. she doesnt have as long a career as janet but shes waaaaaaaaaaay more iconic. when we think of britney, its strictly just that.

I am not dissing any of the people mentioned above, and I agree that Britney was greatly influence by Madonna and Janet, I am not denying that at all. Beyonce is a phenomenal performer and I love her too. What I mean is that Britney had that IT factor that made her Britney was that sexy little blonde dance machine in her day, she pulled of sexy and cute equally, and that spark in her eye when she performed was magical. Now I do admit she's not like that anymore, but man girl would keep up with her dancers and then some back in the early 2000's

Janet Jackson? Paula Abdul? Ciara? She’s the 4th best after the ones I named. Beyoncé is a close #5.

There will NEVER be another super mega pop star like Britney, all these other pop girls nowadays lack that fire and charisma she had. She truly is a force of nature. This woman is a legend, forever and always

@Kal-El of Earth-167 Britney is the youngest celebrity to earn a star on the walk of fame. At 19, she was already on top of the world, while all these people watched from home. Sorry but no one will ever reach the feet of the biggest in the world! 😌 FACTS
