React to Cavan Sullivan breaking the record for youngest MLS player ever to play in a game tonight for Philadelphia Union. He is 14 years, 293 days-old today. Freddy Adu was 14 years, 306 days-old when he broke the record. Sullivan is expected to sign with Man City when he is 18.

anthony davis played for team usa in the olympics before he played in the nba i think he was drafted tho
@ericwilliams8420Ай бұрын
I could be wrong, but I believe Christian Laettner and Emeka Okafor were the last "Collegiate" players they sent that was back in 1990 and 2004. But both players had been drafted into the NBA just hadn't played a game yet. Team USA used to send Collegiate players/Amateurs/Semi-Pros to the Olympics back in the 1980s and prior. That changed because fresh throughout the Cold War they were going back and forth with Soviet Union and other Eastern European countries who were sending their actual best professional players, and the USA starting getting a sense that they couldn't afford to send Amateurs anymore. That's partly why the original Dream Team was such a big deal.

I'm pretty sure Anthony davis was on the team before he went to the nba too

Cooper Flagg is the one. We have a few players that are INSANE on our 18u USA team that are NBA ready and going to be stars as well. But Flagg is different💯

I'm a lifelong Portland Trailblazers fan. I hope we don't win a single game next year so we can get Cooper Flagg!

The 1992 USA Dream Team, is the greatest team ever assembled. When that guy said that they were the best team from top to bottom in US history, he is completely wrong. I've seen this team struggle against Canada and Australia. There will never be another Dream Team, like there was in '92...
@jordancook20Ай бұрын
Dream team never faced any competition at the level these teams are playing at today. I agree the Dream Team is the greatest but they never had to play anyone
@reynaldolorenzo8409Ай бұрын
Hell nah! USA Dream Team played against nobody’s. The world has gotten much better; arguably the top 5 NBA players right now aren’t even from the USA (Jokic, Luka, Giannis, Shai, and Embiid). Now the world has better players, the game is faster, and they have way better shooters.

We’ll see how he performs at Duke. Alotta high hopes for this kid. He seems legit though.

Advanced beyond his years, plays with a mean streak, and he can do it all out there (Although he's more known for his defense). He is gonna be a problem.
@willvr4Ай бұрын
I wonder how tall he's going to get because at 17 he's got a minimum of 1-2 years left, if not more.
@Alex-kd5xcАй бұрын
Could be another KD. 7-footer (or near 7-footer) who can create his own shot off the dribble.

I think he’s been the same height for a few years tho so I doubt he’s gonna grow much more if at all

Straight from high school were LeBron, Kobe, Kevin Garnett, Dwight Howard and more. I think 16 total. 20 yrs ago they changed it so players have to go to college for 1 year.
@itsproof2Ай бұрын
Not just college. They have to play a professional level of basketball for at least a year. Overseas, college, g league ignite, and overtime elite are places where prospects gave been drafted from

Yeah he’s gonna be a problem and all but don’t let that distract you from the fact that Team USA is dominating the other top Fiba teams the last week and just dominated Serbia earlier today. React to it instead of drama stuff.
