THANK YOU! I am 5’2 and had a 9.2 lb baby at 21. I have struggled with the wrinkly/saggy tummy skin and even had an ex tell me that my stomach was deformed.. normalizing carrying “bigger” and weight gain is soooo important. You don’t have to “snap back”! Loved this video.

Thank you for showing this. Celebrities have the world used to women being a size 0 weeks after giving birth. Thanks for showing that not all women are the same, not all women disappear and get tummy tucks, and however you look you are beautiful. (No shade if you do ‘bounce back’ so quickly or choose to get a tummy tuck. I just don’t think it’s good for all women to expect that.)

my first child i was 16 & my flat stomach came back in two days. i was 125lbs towards the end. my second i was 19 & my flat stomach came back in 2 weeks but my stomach was stretched more on one side & i didn’t care for that. ending at 150lbs. my third i was 21 & my stomach didn’t bounce back. . .took discipline & a lot of working out & to get my tummy a little flat. i was 189lbs 🌝 i love who i am now fr & i have stretch marks (which i had since 9 years old). . .cellulite (also had since i was like 5 years old (i was chunky). . .so i never seen anything wrong with stuff like that until people pointed it out. . .i love that you showed your tummy! thank you. confidence is so beautiful. 🤍

It's so nice to see how positive you are about everything. I had a baby in February, I am 8 months pp and I am starting to think that I shouldn't be expecting to go back to my pre pregnancy weight/body. Things have change and we should embrace them, even though sometimes it's hard. I have decided to start doing some hypopressive exercises to help my abdomen heal and feel a little better about that part of my body without worrying too much about numbers. Our bodies are a miracle, we created life and that should be embraced!

I love the level of positivity you’re showing regarding this topic. I’m almost 8 months PP, I hated my body before pregnancy and I hate my body now *but* I also have a decade of eating disorders in my bag so... I guess there are still a lot of issues I need to address. I gave birth 2 week earlier and my baby was a little under 3kg, now she’s over 9kg so I’m dealing with the opposite at the moment! You look absolutely great by the way :) Really happy I rediscovered your channel :)

After watching people body shame Chadwick Boseman and then hearing he was at the taleend of battling terminal cancer, I am so disgusted with body judgements that are not positive, because our bodies are truly amazing, whether they are coming to the end or at the very beginning. Because fatphobia is so real, hearing you call Arrow big makes me flinch. For certain, you are not body shaming your baby, you’re just pointing out stats and such. This is the world we have created, however. It’s literally disgusting. I love your message of self-love. Thank you for not feeding into the toxicity. You are incredible ❤️

I love how you are so chill and positive about the aftermath. I never wanted kids until quite recently, and I am still coming to terms with the image of growing a whole ass baby in my belly. Seeing 8/9 month bellies makes me cringe, not because it looks ugly or weird but because it looks so damn heavy and painful to carry all that 😵 Not to mention post partum, I am 23 now and already extremely insecure, I dont know if I could handle my body changing so much and not being able to shrink back firmly like pre-pregnancy. I really hope that when the time comes I love my body as much as you do so that all that I mentioned now wont bother me, and I think it is really great you show the reality of pregnancy in all its stages! 💟

THANK YOU. Thank you so much for showing people what a postpartum body can look like. My older sister had her 9 pound 7oz daughter at 23 and her body looked a lot like yours after. She suffered from post partum depression so bad because everyone she knew that had kids "snapped back" (hate that saying) I wish I could go back in time and show her this. The amount of tears and self hate I feel this could have saved her.. you're BEAUTIFUL mama. You brought a beautiful baby into this world and I cant wait to see you and your family grow together.

Well being overweight after pregnancy is not healthy in anyway. She doesn't look overweight though so I am not talking about her. People shouldn't except being overweight they should try to change it. Being overweight increases your risk for Soooo many diseases.

It's a very important video! Thank you for it so much! We live in a world which frighten us with changes in our bodies. But it's truely normal to change. You help a lot of people to accept those changes. That's really great, thank you!

You are so inspiring - I just want to say THANK YOU for being so honest, real and positive about your body and all the changes associated. It's SO SO nice to see, and I feel that it's really rare. Often we see women feeling like they have to explain themselves for what they look like after having a baby - it's so refreshing to see you saying "this is me, im good with it, I had a freakin baby". I'm 8.5 months pregnant and it's really making me try to readjust my own mindset in regards to my body and expectations of myself after pregnancy. Thank you! x

Currently 40 weeks pregnant (almost 41) watching this while eating a gigantic bowl of ice cream with whipped cream😅 while also patiently waiting for this baby girl to come out on her own. I think I have grown more in the last two weeks that in my whole third trimester! (Probably not but 🤷‍♀️) I was a modest 110 pounds pre pregnancy and we are on 158 pounds as last week 💪 I also have a belly button piercing and it looks soooo stretched out and weird right now😂 pregnancy, you gotta love it!

I realllllyyyyy needed to see this video. I was literally shit talking myself today because I’m going through the ringer trying to not obsess over the weight gain from my pregnancy. I swear I’ve developed body dysmorphia or something. My beautiful baby is 2 months now And I should just chill out cause it’s still so fresh and everyone keeps saying, oh don’t worry you’ll get there... but like I’m really depressed because I worked so hard to get fit and went from 200 pounds-150 before pregnancy. And now I’m stuck at 171 and can’t fit into anything, my body isn’t the same. I don’t feel sexy or pretty. It takes a toll on me. My baby daddy lives in the UK, works for the ambulance service, and I’m in Canada so he couldn’t even be here the whole 9months when I was pregnant, couldn’t see my body changing, couldn’t even be here for the birth of our baby girl cause of Covid 😢 So our whole situation alone has been devastating.. I haven’t seen my man since beginning of February 2020.... And The next time I see him, hopefully in the next few months I’m going to be nervous looking like a whole different person and I just hope he will still be attracted to me with my postpartum body. Such a shitty way to think and feel. So your positivity towards your body makes me happy cause maybe I can start thinking that way. 🤞🏼

Woman body is so amazing. It do amazing things. Have seen my wife during the pregnancy and the stress her body has gone through and in the end she was happy with all of it once she got hold of her little angle. Salute to all the moms. They are really God reflection on earth.

This video made my day!! I just had my first baby and my body definitely changed a lot! I have stretch marks, darker skin and all that jazz…and a beautiful soul that I brought into the world. I agree we need to change the whole snap back narrative because for many of us it’s not practical. Thank you for being a part of that change by being real!
