Broccolini or Broccoli? Preferences and reasons

A quick video talking about my experience with both broccoli and broccolini and why I’m choosing one over the other. Purely personal preference, but since I had never grown it before I’m sharing what I’ve learned which led to the preference

Does broccolini grow slower compared to other vegetables? I planted 6 seedlings two weeks ago, but I don't see any noticeable growth. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area.

@@ji94552 from my experience with the various types I’ve grown, they do seem to be somewhat ‘slow starters’. That said, in 2 weeks they would likely be a bit bigger and maybe have a new baby leaf trying to come in - but I wouldn’t expect dramatic change yet (unlike with tomatoes…). I’d give them more time before becoming concerned. Check to make sure they are getting watered regularly, but other than that it’s a patience game now. In about a month they should definitely be well on their way though.
