Tip: instead of painting the pieces that you regret doing because of the fit, use cold bluing on them to help protect from rust without changing dimensions.

The only thing I would recommend is getting your controller off the table needs to be on a bracket so that it doesn't overheat it'll last a lot longer

I just ordered a Brodbeck, but do you know if other small wheels fit their attachment? I saw that you had a pre-existing contact wheel, so I figured you might know. The KMG wheels look like they might work.

Awesome! I think other small wheel attachments should would. I’m not sure if the individual small wheels will work or not but the overall attachment should. You should contact them to make sure though. They’re very helpful. :)

I'm a little skeptical about whether that buffing wheel spins fast enough. It seems like a cheap Harbor Freight grinder with a buffing wheel might work better just because it spins so much faster.

It’s definitely fast enough. I actually only run it at 30% speed so that it isn’t too fast. There’s not really any reason to go faster. :)

Hi! I’m not quite sure what you mean by where I get my blades. I make all of them myself. Some I get waterjet cut by New Jersey steel baron.

I etch with ferric chloride acid and then do a coffee etch after that. 😃

Did you have any difficulty getting the tracking and everything lined up when you first put it together? I bought a grinder a few years ago and had a nightmare of a time getting everything lined up.

It took a little work but I was able to call the makers of the grinder and they walked me through setting it up over FaceTime.
