I jammed this when it came out. Nonstop. I forgot about it My son and his mother were killed in a car accident. I was driving to Arkansas where my son caught his last fish of his 4 year life. This song came on and it made sense to me. Miss you Christian and Jen

+Fuschiababe We're bound to wait all night She's bound to run amok Invested enough in it anyhow, To each his own... The Garden needs sorting out She curls her lips on the bow And I don't know if I'm dead or not To anyone... Come on and get the minimum Before you open up your eyes, This army has so many heads To analyze... Come on and get your overdose Collect it at the borderline And they want to get up in your head... [Chorus:] Cause they know and so do I The high road is hard to find A detour to your new life Tell all of your friends goodbye The dawn to end all nights That's all we hoped it was A break form the warfare in your house To each his own... A soldier is bailing out He curled his lips on the barrel And I don't know if the dead can talk To anyone... Come on and get the minimum Before you open up your eyes This army has so many hands Are you one of us? Come on and get your overdose Collect it at the borderline And they want to get up in your head [Chorus:] Cause they know and so do I The high road is hard to find A detour to your new life Tell all of your friends goodbye It's too late to change your mind You let loss be your guide... Personally I feel the song is about PTSD, Stress, Suicide. something along those lines. Like the thoughts of someone saturated in depression and desperation to escape and possible acceptance to the outcome. This is what I hear, feel, and get from the lyrics. I haven't heard this song since shortly after it was released, but I remember loving the vibe. If I recall, it used to play in our home theater section when I worked at Best Buy. So tonight I'm driving back home on a 10 hour round trip, and I was turned around on a country road due to a fire. Detoured back through a little back woods town, and got to a fork in the road with a high road and a low road, and said to myself "I'm taking the high road!" I then instantly remembered this song after all these years and had to come back for a listen 😁

The high road is hard to find when things get hard in life. I had been there already 12 years ago back in 2010 when I had money problems, family problems and losing my apartment. 12 years later now in 2023 many more people are starting to feel the pain that I felt 12 years ago in 2010.
