CGB. I'm 37 and stumbled across your channel. I loved MTG as a kid and played through school in the mid to late 90's. You sparked my love for the game and I started playing arena. Thank you, love your content and keep it up!

I feel this in my soul because I am the same age and had not touched a Magic card since 1999. The pandemic got me in to Arena and bird dogging auctions for old cards and trying to find deals on cards I missed out on over the past twenty years.

Same here. Just turned 40 and haven't played magic since eighth grade/ice age/legends when I moved to the country and away from my game store. Your vids are really helpful as the game has changed alot. Plus, I'm an old blue mage and there isn't alot of blue/control style content out there. Keep up the great work. You put alot of work into your content and it shows. Love the crafty podcast too.

I'm honestly loving the "today in CGB show you will see..." section during the deck tech. It's such a small thing, but it helps to hype up the upcoming matches.

23:28 you can kick Cinderclasm if you cast it for free off of Hauken's Insight. Hauken's Insight gives an alternative cost ("without paying its mana cost") but kicker is an additional cost, which can be paid after casting it normally for free.

I was looking for this comment! sweet! the way I remember is, play for free: no alt or X but add is yes (alternate or variable mana costX but addition costs kicker, sac, discard etc. is ok)

Thank you for sharing more behind the scenes of how you do your craft. It's impressive to me that you're able to do this every day. Your routine reminds me of Stephen King's work ethic, how he's able to pump out so many books at such a consistent pace, and maintain his quality. You're an expert at this by now, and it really shows. The videos are at the highest quality they've ever been, and in my opinion you're the shining example of a hard-working, high-quality KZbinr.

had noticed that you started giving highlights at the start, been enjoying that. intentfulness is definitely one of those things that you can almost never identify is what improved when watching something, but nearly always makes the end result noticeably better. also glad it lets you have more fun, for me part of the appeal of your vids is in watching someone have fun doing something they're really good at

No joke I was listening to yesterday’s intro and I thought to my self. Man this intro is extra good and engaging but I couldn’t put my finger on what it was. It was definitely that extra info about the match ups that just took it to another level. I really enjoy it man.

This is a positive comment from someone who watches till the end every time! I feel, in a way, that with your lifestyle change your intros and outros have changed a lot. It feels much more like you want to be here, talking to us, and there's a lot more energy to the way you present information that makes it easier to understand and be excited about. I've only been around for a few hundred days of the streak, but I've loved the time I've spent here! You're really entertaining, and voice a lot of what people want to hear about the game. I hope it's just as entertaining to 2k!

Glad to hear your routine feels better! Nice idea to scan games for those 'content' moments. Defeinitely seems like a level up in production. One suggestion is to provide teasers instead of spoilers for the 'during this episode's matchups' rundown. The whole 'will our hero prevail?' style of discussing the matchups might be more fun anyway. Thanks for the videos!

CGB, I'm loving the new intro/outtro format, and always fun hearing the process behind it. I had noticed you glancing to notes when talking about the "you'll see ..", and I think the taking time away to clear the salt and review your videos before doing the intro really adds just another level of professionalism and quality to your already great format. It's a genuine pleasure not only watching your videos, but seeing you continuously evolve as an entertainer with your craft. Thank you for all you do.

i usually never watch yt videos to the end but i love this content fs, i stared playing mtg when i was in 7th and 8th grade and i would win a lot and come home with championship mats all the time . needless to say i was pretty good. i stopped playing when i got in hs cuz i thought it was weird for some reason but i’m 19 now in college and i started playing again and watching this made my energy to gettin back into playing went way up. definitely gonna go build this deck, on top of that insane deck building skills man, on my arenas i play against all the same decks so it’s nice to see a non meta deck be really efficient in the high rank in arenas. keep it goin man fsfs 🤝🤝

Love the channel, love the videos... following since 2019, they transformed me into a control mage, always been a midrange guy. Nevertheless, what your breakfasts are doing to you liver and overall health... is what an Azorius hand with Doomskar, Sunset Reverly, Sunset Reverly, Memory Deluge, Plain, Island, Deserted Beach does to a Mono White deck being on the draw. PD I love, the Kraken! I didn't know the card, I had to face it on my first game after the release. I won the match but I immediately added a couple to my Azorius. Cheers
