Game against monowhite lifegain was probably one of the best-played games I’ve seen in a while. A favored matchup to be sure, but that one was tricky. Well played sir.

When I got back into magic when m11 was the most recent set vampire nighthawk blew my mind. So many good keywords and good stats for 3 mana was nuts. Creatures were so bad during the mirage era.

Your tier 1 orzhov control with the facebook combo from months ago inspired me to play a similar deck the last couple weeks. Mine includes the book, 2 edgars and a faithbound judge as well as a similar vamp package(do I even need to mention the tibalt splash?). does great vs aggro and yes maybe not extremely powerful vs other control with blue, but I still manage some wins as I climbed to Mythic last season. Also been trying out a facebook x2 vampire orzhov deck that looks to have a ton of lifelink and get a lot of procs creating angels as to get value from both book uses that's more creature based. Intrepid adversary on 2 into book on 3 doesn't come often but when it does, the play pattern generally feels nice. Love it!!!

That last game was ridiculous. 7 counters on stadium with a Lolith and he could swept the board or held mauling but decided to do neither and force a control deck to deal with 3 creatures in one turn… isn’t that what control decks are designed to do? I mean that play honestly shocked me. It’s the only way you could lose that game without another epiphany. It’s also salt in the wound that he thought he had a sweeper and cgb decided to… play more creatures…ugh. Love cgb but that is frustrating.
