After a struggle, the cougar followed me from Coastal highway into the Ravine transition zone. Spawned near the deer cave. Going to assume it's a bug and not intended.

@@aseroxd I assume that isnt intended indeed. Not 100% sure. I know theyre not meant to spawn in transition regions but dunno the mechanics on whether they can follow you into them 😅

When i was in coastal highway the grace period got bugged out, waited an extra five days for the cinematic before quitting and reloading then I finally got the cougar to spawn.

I like the cougar a lot definitely a good change to how it was before its tough to hunt my only problem with it is just the bug where when you kill one another one spawns its happened to me in ash canyon, milton, and PV ive had to hunt the cougar twice after the first kill furthermore the badge for hunting the cougars is also bugged for me i don't know if this is a PlayStation exclusive bug or a bug in general

@@purebreedgrape5568 As far as I understand, if you leave the cougar alone its territory wont expand. If ypu hunt the 1st, a second will appear and if you hunt the second.. a 3rd will appear. I think the idea waa after killing 3, they would disappear for a while? But yeah it is still a bit buggy, there was just an update.

Be careful about the barn in PV not the main one the one closest to signal hill because the at the end of the little parkour there is a ladder and if u think u can go down it u will be wrong and will get stuck idk when this started happening but almost lost my run to it don't know if it makes sense but I hope this helps

Waiting for the PS5 bugs to fix. My main game I'm stuck in the watchtower in Bleak Inlet. Game loads and freezes when I open the menu

Any idea what I'm supposed to do on xbox if the PV bunker loose bricks arent working? I checked the mystery lake bunker as well and havent seen any loose bricks

I need help my game is broken im stuck in a trailer outside of the dam and everytime i try to leave it says failed to load and sends me back to the main menu im on PS5 version 2.33

i dont know much about ps5 but.. i would load preview game save if its possible, save files are stored.. somewhere.. other then that you can unistal the game --- then instal it again .. your last save should be taken from a cloud.... but you must read first on the internet if ps5 is storing your game files in the cloud for the long dark.... if yes then reinstaling should work 100% if its not gonna work that means your save is broken but i dont think this is the case..

Seems to be an issue with aurora cougars, for some reason they completely brick your game when you try go outside

For the cougar to appear? 30 days in voyager, but how many days since the update and have you moved region or anything? In my save it also took a bit before the animation showed up even tho I had like 40-50 days already.

@ i haven’t had the animation, and i’m a pretty big nomad so i traverse multiple regions since the update so might just be glitched

Killed 3 x cougar already on loper closing to 900 days. I.m aming on 30 pelts ..

@leopardtrixgaming Bow actually is the best weapon in the game. 3-4 arrows and cougar is done.

@@Tyber_gsk for me , 2 arrows in my loper run , maybe luck. just make a fire to stop the attack animation then cougar is a little bugged and don't flee : free kill ^^

what hapens when u kill it do does it respawn?

@@idoomi6714 When I killed my first one, I noticed another icon appear on the map, another cougar territory. I think another territory appears somewhere else in Great Bear when you kill one.

@@idoomi6714 Here is some more info: "Multiple Cougar Territories can be present on the same map at once. Fighting a Cougar in its territory will cause another Cougar Territory to spawn somewhere else on the map up to a maximum of 3. If the Cougar loses track of you, and you attack it again, a third territory might spawn during the same fight. Missing a shot while Cougar is charging can also increase this counter by one. If you do not interact with a Cougar for 5 days, one territory will despawn every 5 days until only one Cougar territory is active in the map. They will despawn in the reverse order of appearance, which is fixed for each map. A killed cougar respawns after 20 days on Voyager difficulty, 15 on Stalker and 10 on Interloper in its original territory." - From TLD wiki.
