Mum's got bc too. After mum began chemo she got so poorly last Xmas,we,family and mum thought it was the chemo.. but no. It was t cell lymphoma 🤦♂️. Anyway mum was a physio therapist in the nhs from like the early 70's while having 3 kids etc. And she rolled with every punch ! We hope this Christmas will be better😁. Bless you Suzanne 🙏 ♥️

A wonderful start to a Saturday morning to watch your latest adventure Susanna! There’s so much to enjoy in your video - the sense of freedom from camping amongst natures elements, cycling in remote spots, meeting lovely people, seeing your mothers home, your continued strength and joy in making the most of every day when it’s possible…stunning!! 🎉👍 Yet again an inspiring video of you doing what you love. I hope there’ll be an adventure following the next round 🤞 Wishing you the best xx

A nice round of Bromptoneering Susanna highlighting just how kind and compassionate people can be. Amazing to see just how remote some places are though it's really close to the big city and what a lovely camp site, you couldn't have wished for better. That lady you met toward the end of the video is quite right, we do all need to stop and stare and slow down and take it all in and enjoy every moment :) Sandy

Whan an incredible camp spot! Beautiful! I hope you weren't too chilly that night? Your food looked so appetizing too! I was sorry to hear about your Mum. We have similar genetics in our family: there have been eight cases of cancer on my mother's side alone in the past couple of generations. My Dad's family is the same. Tough stuff. I hope your treatments are going well, and that your body will be able to fight off the cancer and cope with the treatment side effects. I'm always so happy to see a video of yours.

You are totally amazing. You never take the easy route - constantly challenging yourself with the terrain despite having chemo at the moment. I love how you get your bike and bags through fences, hedges and over obstacles as if they were just a little bump in the road!! You do meet some very lovely people on your journeys but I can't help thinking that they also walk away thinking of how they have also just met the most lovely person too! You are so outward looking, loving the moment, so upbeat and positive - it's inspirational and I always feel so blessed to be able to share the adventure on KZbin. Thank you. I often think of you and continue to wish you total success with your treatment. xx

Brilliant! I love your “spunk”. You accomplish more during your three week cancer periods than most of us do all year. You are definitely the highlight of my armchair Brompton touring trips. Hi Peter! thanks for the lovely message. Yeh about mini adventures and longer trips, I love longer trips, feel so free... And you can go really far on a bike in two weeks can't you, love that, and it still kind of surprises me even now haha, I mean you could fairly easily be 1000km away by the end of it couldn't you... ahhh. But even on a one-night mini adventure, I do get the same kind of freedom feeling, love it. Anyway, thanks for watching! best wishes!

Thank you for another lovely video Susanna. I’ve just returned from 14 days in north west Ireland in my little camper, and out on my bike. It was a stunning trip, wild van camping for 11 of those nights, by the side of amazing beaches or views. In those moments when I feel a little bit vulnerable or alone I draw on your strength - not only in your adventures but in your outlook on life. You are an awesome inspiration in so many ways… and I love that you still use a paper map too (my grown up lads think I’m nuts, but clearly I’m not alone 🤣)… all the best, always, Ceri xx

What a feast for a not so nice Saturday, a Susanne film. There are a lot of reasons why your cycling films are the best - locations that are not tourist spots, always some interesting highlights to see and the random conversations along the way. I love that you abandon tarmac, I can almost feel on my B17 all the ruts in the tracks and all the decisions, 'shall I try it is a footpath, but' then through the gate and give it a shot. I just loved your face at the very end of the film when you got on the train and sat down, it said achievement. I hope that your eyes are bothering you less. Take care Susanna thanks for sharing your adventure(s)

I love your Brompton mini-adventures Susannah, and this time you took me through haunts familiar to me as a child growing up in (north) Kent and adventuring around the coast, marshes, woodlands and lanes on my bicycle back in the 70s. I live in Devon now, and have a very active outdoor life, but there is still real magic for me in the history and wild landscapes of the Kent coastline - it has a particular kind of stark beauty. I love how you take an interest in local culture and history, rebel slightly about rights of way.... and take the time to talk to people you meet along the way. You are far braver in touring on your Brompton than I am (I use mine to whizz about town on errands, and sometimes I pop it on the train) but I tour on a gravel or touring bike. Where you take your Brompton and prove its little wheels can do pretty much anything, is rather inspiring. I wish you good recovery, and continued energy for your adventures - your journey is a challenging one, and I feel grateful that you are sharing it with me (us all) -.thank you x

I think you have a lovely outlook on things enjoying what is often quite simple and making the most of things. I have ridden some of the route you took here, I cycled from home to Tilbury then got the ferry to Gravesend then cycled along the cost. Once I got as far as All Hallows so I could see the London Stone ( never actually saw it ) I turned inland to Rochester. From there I cycled back to Gravesend, then the ferry and home. Sorry you are not well but I am sure your attitude will contribute to you getting well. Take care and keep cycling.
