Such blatant mistreatment of spawning fish. Is this the type of mishandling you want to teach your growing audience. Leave those fish to spawn or at least don’t drag them across the ground. Very sad video to watch as a local to see how you treat our fish populations.
@bassntroutfishing2 жыл бұрын
I would have to disagree, those fish are perfectly fine.
@friddyyuh2 жыл бұрын
I’d have to agree I’m glad there’s someone else watching that feels the same. Everyone’s always in denial about mistreating fish when called out. I used to be the same bro.. but the way you handle fish especially when your a growing KZbinr is so so important. It’s 100% a fact a trout can swim back fine and die later based on treatment. It’s not hard to wet your hands before handling and it’s not hard to not drag them on the ground, especially that is just careless for all the amazing fisheries your fishing. All of which places I love to fish myself. And many others. You do you bro, disagree, glorify it by saying they swam off fine, at the end of the day it’s bad handling and I could find many spots in your video of which your handling of them could lead to their demise after release. What’s crazy to me is it’s not that hard to handle a trout correctly so there’s more for all of us in the future. Correct handling leads to trophy fish making their way up the line. Many reasons to consider what anyone sais about your fish handling rather than being in denial just because they swim back fine.🤷♂️
@bassntroutfishing2 жыл бұрын
Although I still disagree in some ways, I think the best thing you can do is get the fish in and out of the water quickly. Even if you wet your hands there’s still a chance that the fish dies just by hooking it and fighting it. So noones innocent when it comes to fishing. But I appreciate your feedback and I’ll definitely do my best to make sure the fish stay healthy! Thanks for watching!
@huntzz212 жыл бұрын
@@bassntroutfishing most of the trout that you handled will likely be okay, but you do need to educate your partner a little. Those trout he coated in mud and grass, and drug all over the bank, are not going to do well. There is no way the protective slime on those trout wasn't severely damaged on those fish. Of course they swam off, but they will likely die a very slow and painful death. Similar to what would happen to a person if they died of exposure to the elements, because they didn't have proper clothes for the environment.
