UNEXPECTED Catch while Deep Sea Fishing! Catch, Clean, Cook!

We go out of Hillsboro Inlet to drift fish with live baits as well as do some vertical jigging! We hooked a fish we did not expect!! I then come home and clean our catch and cook it for my family! We had delicious fish Reuben Paninis!

Great video Brook! Some wicked catching going on. A number of years ago, some friends and I went out on a charter in the Gulf and caught many fish including 3 kings. I caught the first one and I remember our guide saying how I had so little chance of landing that fish with the setup. He the set out some wired lines and we caught the last 2. So awesome. Your food makes me drool like my dog does when I feed him. So wicked… what a sandwich. You go girl! Remember. There are no trash fish, just trash cooks!!!!

I grew up in Coral Gables, and back as far back as I can remember my family fished Biscayne Bay, the finger channels, and Gulf Streem, we LOVED Catching and eating King fish and spanish mackerel. King fish, Spanish Marckel and cero mackerel are a bit oily fish but I eat them pan pan seared or fried can't complain! They not a goo to traget but I hook some while out I keep them any way! Brooke you and vic have killer videos. Love the work fun and excitement you all bring!

Kingfish is one of my favourite!! Try steaming the fish seasoned in some natural herbs on very low flame.. you can also used 2 table spoon of butter to grease pan.

I've eaten many, many kingfish growing up and have eaten them many ways . I myself enjoy them most Blackened in our "large" cast-iron skillet over the fire on Peanut Island; mostly while camping in my younger years. Many times at home on the gas burner as well, but it was always more enjoyable while camping. GREAT MEMORIES !!

I'm from south Texas, we always ate kingfish. As long as you bleed them well. And they were easy to catch, sometimes we'd catch them off the jetty in Port A.

Brookie/Victor, king fish is the most expensive fish this week in Trinidad. At Easter time fish is generally expensive but king fish maintains a high price throughout the year. It is considered one of the best fish here.
