Girl I’m telling you invest in a humidifier. I have the levoit lv600s. The winter is the worst for me I’m always congested and get nose bleeds from the dryness. I sleep with the humidifier and it has helped me so much. I put lavender essential oil in the pad and it just sets such a vibe for bed time.

I'm not sure if you've ever considered getting an allergy test, but finding out what I'm allergic to and getting prescription treatment for it changed my liiife!!! No more sniffles

A resident doctor just chiming in I’m sure you probably know this especially bc of Ben. But antibiotics are a little overprescribed because bacterial illnesses such as strep throat left untreated have way more detrimental effects then possible antibiotic resistance. That being said not every tickle in your throat needs antibiotics and especially this time of year. But getting a strep test isn’t the worst idea in the world!

If I am sick and feeling miserable I take something (advil, ibuprofen, etc). However if I just feel a little stuffy but can still function than I usually don’t take anything.

Hey Brooke, commenting this because I haven't seen it said yet but a recent study was published that the active ingredient in Sudafed - phenylephrine - and many other cold products actually doesn't work at all and these products will like be getting pulled from the shelves. I suggest trying something that doesn't contain phenylephrine as the active ingredient. As someone who has struggled with sinus infections all my life I suggest Phytofed HF for decongestion.

I have had off and on congestion and post-nasal drip since the end of August 🙃 so I FEEL you! I am suffering rn. I’ve tried everything. I use allergy nose sprays, take allergy meds, no sinus rinses, get allergy shots, heck I even got a surgery on my nose about 3 weeks ago to reduce inflammation inside of it. Still suffering 😅 idk what’s going on but you’re not alone
